Face: Libra
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Libra, the seventh astrological sign in the Zodiac. Libra’s symbol is The Scales, and this motif is featured on the Beyblade’s Face and Clear Wheel.

Clear Wheel: Libra
*Weight: 2.8g
The regular release of Libra is a translucent green, featuring scales on opposite sides.

Mold Variations
The original mold of Libra does not fit Metal Wheels correctly, resulting in a loose fit and rattling. This is later rectified in the Hybrid Wheel Reshuffle Set (Stamina & Defense) release.

Metal Wheel: Flame
*Weight: 32.5 grams
The Metal Wheel Flame was first released with Flame Sagittario C145S. It is predominantly circular, with two small spikes and two additional smaller gaps on its circumference. The Wheel is relatively thin throughout, with the very edge of the Wheel being slightly thicker. Due to the design of Flame where the Wheel’s perimeter is raised slightly, more of the Track below is exposed compared to other Wheels, hence making it easier for other Beyblades to strike its Track. This significantly reduces its Defense capabilities.

Use in Stamina Customization
Flame Bull AD145SD is a competitive Stamina customization.

Track: Tornado 125
*Weight: 1.7 grams
T125 has four upward-facing wing protrusions spaced apart widely. The Track is designed to work in a similar way to DF145, although the effect it produces is negligible. The performance of this Track is similar to D125, and as a height, is generally overshadowed by CH120.

Bottom: Eternal Sharp
*Weight: 1.0 grams
Eternal Sharp features a free-spinning tip attached to a metal shaft which is held by the Bottom. The part was one of the most heavily anticipated parts in the MFB lineup when first announced, but ES is actually a hugely disappointing part in terms of performance.

Firstly, ES lacks a metal bearing, which would significantly reduce the friction between the free-spinning tip and the rest of the Bottom. All of the best free-spinning tips, notably Bearing Core, had NSK Shield bearings which allowed unhindered spin.

Secondly, the tip shape of ES is not conducive to optimum Stamina; the sharp nature of the Bottom means it is easily destabilized. As all Sharp tips do, Eternal Sharp also has trouble regaining balance, hence making this a poor choice for Stamina. That said, ES still remains superior to BS and S as Stamina Bottoms.

Name Change
Killer Gemios was renamed Evil Gemios for the Hasbro release.

Face: Gemios
The Face depicts Gemini, the Twins and is the third astrological sign in the Zodiac.

Clear Wheel: Gemios
*Weight: 2.2 grams
Gemios follows the same aesthetic principles as the Gemios Metal Wheel, and Killer, with a similar two-winged design. It is the lightest Clear Wheel available.

Metal Wheel: Killer
*Weight: 31.2 grams
Like its Metal System predecessor Gemios, Killer has a textured, bumpy, two-winged design that ends in two rounded edges. However, unlike its predecessor, it is considerably thinner even with a smaller amount of metal dropping below the base of the Wheel. Being so thin, the edges of each wing do not apply as much force as those of the Gemios Metal Wheel; as a result, Killer loses any of the potential Smash Attack the first incarnation had.

Being so thin negates any possible defensive qualities, and though it may seem suited for Stamina, it preforms poorly compared to the top-tier Stamina Wheels such as Virgo, Burn, and Earth.

Track: Down Force 145
*Weight: 3 grams
DF145 has four upward facing wings protruding from the top of the Track, which aside from giving it extra weight are meant to push air downwards. It is on par with 145 in Stamina combinations.

Use in Stamina Customization
DF145 can be put to good use in the custom, Burn Bull DF145SD.

Bottom: Ball Flat
*Weight: 0.6 grams
BF features a flat tip with a smaller, ballish tip in the center. As a result, when launched at a straight angle, the Beyblade spins on this ball tip, with very little movement. However, when tilted, either from the contact of an opposing Beyblade or from the launch, the Bottom moves in an offensive pattern. However, it suffers from the same problems as other Balance Bottoms, in that the two qualities are compromised, resulting in mediocre performance in both fields.

Pegasus is one of the first four Metal Fight Beyblades released, and it is part of the Horoscope Series along with Leone, Bull, and Sagittario.

Face
The face on this Beyblade depicts a Pegasus, one of the 88 constellations in space.

Wheel
* Design change: The original design of Pegasus (seen below) was changed to the current design (above) sometime before the launch of Metal Fight Beyblade. No official statement was made, but the Beyblade community has speculated that it was because of probable breakage problems with each section on the Wheel.

* Weight: 36 Grams

* Maximum Outer Diameter: Close Approximate 44.40 Millimeters

* Maximum Height: Close Approximate 12.16 Millimeters

Pegasus consists of a three-winged design, much like the latter HWS version. Each of the protrusions has a flat front that connects each other. The protrusions slightly curve upwards, with 2 pointed ridges near the end.

The Pegasus wheel was one of the strongest parts at the release of MFB. Its original design appeared extremely offensive, but it was later changed to the above design (see above), possibly due to concerns over breakage.

Although outclassed, it has some use in the Smash Attack customisation MF Pegasus 145/85RF.

Track: 105
*Weight: 1 gram
This track is currently the fourth lowest track available, but is outclassed in terms of Attack and Stamina by the 85, 90, and 100 Tracks. 105 has no problem with floor scrapes, but still is an outclassed part and should only be chosen when none of the aforementioned Tracks are available.

Bottom: Flat
*Weight: 1 gram
The Flat Bottom has a plastic flat tip, which gives it an offensive movement pattern. It is the equivalent of Flat Core (HMS) or SG Flat (Plastic). The F bottom has a hard time retaining a flower pattern, due to it being plastic, which results in it having less grip to the stadium floor than a rubber bottom. F has been overshadowed by countless other Attack Bottoms such as WF, RF, and R2F.
Face: Libra
The Face depicts Libra, the seventh astrological sign of the Zodiac.

Wheel: Libra
NOTE: This Wheel is now banned under WBO Organized Play Official Rules.
*Weight: 40.5 grams
Libra's design is very circular, with numerous extremely small notches surrounding its perimeter. This, combined with its abnormally heavy weight in proportion to other Wheels, (of which, the heaviest is 5 grams lighter than Libra) make Libra the best Defense-oriented Wheel available, and by a wide margin.

IMPORTANT: Mold Variations
Libra has three different molds. The first mold was released in BB-18 Booster Libra DF145BS and BB-22 Bey Reshuffle Set Stamina & Defense Type, and the second in BB-25 Random Booster Vol.2 Legend Pisces. The second mold addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by reinforcing the underside of four sections of the Wheel (pictured to the left). The performance of each mold varies from Wheel to Wheel; some are slightly heavier than others, which would make them better suited for Defense customizations, while lighter ones would be more effective in Stamina customs, the difference however is negligible. The third mold is released in BB-96 Super Deck Set which contains a Libra, Pegasis, and Burn Cancer. This new mold is now allowed by WBBA regulations as adding a Metal face will result in the weight of 47.36g.

Use in Defense Customization
The reason why Libra is an absolute must own is because of its unrivalled Defensive power. MF Libra C145WB is the current staple Defense customization. The heavy weight of the Metal Face, Libra, and C145 make it an almost immovable tank, and C145 provides exceptional Defense against low Attackers such as Quetzalcoatl 90RF with its three movable wings. And to top it off, WB is able to withstand powerful Attacks due to its wide surface area.

Use in Stamina Customization
Libra also has use in top tier Stamina customizations due to its circular form; Libra AD145SD/WD is a great choice. However, Virgo is a better choice being the lightest of the two Wheels.

Use in Balance Customization
Surprisingly, Libra has found use in a very specific Balance customization; in fact, it is really the only competitively viable Balance customization at this point in time. The custom is Libra CH120RF. Here is how it performs against the current staple customs:

*Versus Virgo DF145D -- use 120 height
Even though Libra is the heaviest Wheel ever created, because its weight is focused around the outside, it is still quite agile with RF. On its own, Libra is not a very effective Smash Attack Wheel, but its weight distribution in combination with the fast moving RF allow it to achieve an astonishing 90% win rate against Virgo DF145D. 120 height must be used in order for the Metal Wheels to make contact or it won't work.

*Versus Quetzalcoatl 90RF -- use 145 height
By switching to 145 height, the Track will absorb all of the hits dealt by Quetzalcoatl. The weight of Libra combined with the grip of RF give it enough defense to withstand most attacks, and again, the win rate is 90%.

*Versus MF Libra C145WB -- use 120 height
The win ratio against the top tier Defense combo isn't that great -- only about 60% -- but this still isn't bad, considering how strong it is against the other two types. If you can avoid using this combo against Defense-types, you should, but if you're forced into that situation you can win with a perfect shot and a little luck.

To effectively use this custom, you absolutely must be able to perform Sliding Shoot because the window for landing a successful attack is much smaller than with other Storm or Quetzalcoatl-based Attackers. A skilled Blader can use this customization as an answer to almost anything that is thrown at them.

Controversy Over Libra
In April 2009 TAKARA-TOMY updated the WBBA Regulations. Included in these new regulations was a 47g weight limit, which meant that no Beyblade that cumulatively weighed more than 47g would be legal for tournament play. This was done to negate Libra's game-breaking power by making it illegal to use any Metal Face + Libra customization. This also allowed other Metal Face + Defensive Wheel customizations to be viable for competitive play. So, essentially, it could be said that the Metal Face was produced to allow Defense types other than Libra-based ones to be usable.

Initially the WBO did not react to this rule change and did not impose any sort of weight limit, allowing heavy Libra customs to still be tournament legal. However, in December 2009 after countless tournaments were won, most through simply the use of a Libra-based custom such as MF Libra C145WB, and seeing that the then new RF, the one part that could stand up to these customizations was difficult to control, the following poll was conducted:

----
Changes to WBO Competitive Gameplay: Balancing Competitive Combo's [Re: Libra]:
What changes do you think should be made?

*Do not change the rules. - 56 votes (54.37%)
*Restrict the use of the Libra Wheel + Metal Face and any 145 Track except DF145 and 145 in combos. - 27 votes (26.21%)
*Ban the Libra Wheel entirely. - 20 votes (19.42%)
----

As the results illustrate, there was much controversy over even the suggestion of restricting a Wheel. Combining the second and third options, which advocate some sort of restriction, and comparing it to the first option, it can be said that the community could almost be split evenly into sides that wanted something done, and those that didn't. However, despite the majority of votes going towards not changing anything, the proportion of votes that came from what could be considered competitive-level Beybladers was larger for the second and third options. Addtionally, those that voted for the first option did not provide compelling arguments as to why Libra should be allowed. In May 2010, Release 2 of the WBOs Standard and Universal Rules was released, with the decision that Libra was now banned from use outright in any competitive situation.

How Libra Dominated the MFB Metagame and Why It Was Banned
After Libra was released and weighed, it did not take very long for it to shoot to the top of the MFB metagame in both Stamina and Defense customizations, and eventually a remarkably useful Balance customization, as listed above. Aside from it's circular, uninterrupted shape, it's insane weight in comparison with other Wheels is the main reason for its game-breaking power. The fact that TAKARA-TOMY imposed the 47g weight limit essentially means they admitted that it was a mistake to release Libra in the form that they did.

If it isn't obvious already, the reason that Libra was banned was that it transformed Beyblade into a game of rock-paper-scissors. Of course, inherently the game will always be this, but Libra allowed for no deviation. You either used Libra or you didn't win. The game revolved around defeating Libra, and that isn't what a good metagame looks like. There was no skill involved. Restricting Libra would have been a nice compromise for both sides, made it more difficult to police it's use in tournaments, so banning it outright was a much easier option.

The opposition towards banning Libra was incredibly high, especially among players who owned one, but among high level, competitive Bladers, the game had become incredibly boring. In the end though, through the banning of Libra, the Beyblade metagame was undeniably opened up considerably, allowed numerous parts that may have never seen use to be utilized in top-tier customizations.

Bottom: Ball Sharp
*Weight: 1 gram
BSs performance is quite similar to that of S. BS offers very little movement and as such gives no Attack potential. The pointed tip allows for very little friction between the Bottom and the stadium surface, which helps prevent the loss of spin velocity. BS has decent Stamina, but because the tip is so fine, it experiences the same balance issues that S does. D, SD, and WD are much better choices.
Libra was one of the most versatile parts available, however, it's banned and it's only use in a competitive situation currently is being useful for testing purposes. It also comes with DF145, one of the most useful Stamina Tracks. BS may not be any good, but Libra and DF145 more than make up for it. Every Blader should own one of this beyblade.
As all Sharp tips do, Eternal Sharp also has trouble regaining balance, hence making this a poor choice for Stamina. That said, ES still remains superior to BS and S as Stamina Bottoms.
Name Change
Earth Aquila was re-named Earth Eagle by Hasbro.

Face: Aquila
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Aquila, one of the 88 constellations in space. In mythology, Aquila is seen to represent an eagle, which is featured on this Beyblade's Face.

Clear Wheel: Aquila
*Weight: 2.9 grams
Aquila was first released in a translucent purple colour. Each side of this Clear Wheel represents an Eagle's pair of wings, with the notches on either side representing its head. It was clearly designed to fit with the aesthetic of the Earth Metal Wheel with its two spikes/notches fitting nicely over the small notches on the inner section of Earth.

Metal Wheel: Earth
*Weight: 30.8 grams
Earth has four thick, textured wings surrounding its perimeter, with each pair facing each other on a slight incline. The space created between the wings is quite small, and the resulting effect is similar to any Wheel that has no spaces: minimal recoil. Though it is on the lighter side of Metal Wheels, its almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil make it one of the best, if not the best, Defense-oriented Wheel currently available for competitive play.

IMPORTANT: Mold Variations
Earth has two different molds. The first mold was released in BB-47 Starter Earth Aquila 145WD, and the second in both the purple WBBA "Event Special" MF Earth Aquila 105HF/S, and SonoKong manufactured Earth Metal Wheels. However, TAKARA-TOMY has since ceased production on the first mold, thus making it a difficult part to obtain. The second mold addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by modifying the inside of each of Earth's wings. The new mold is up to three grams heavier than the old mold (30-31 grams versus 33 grams on the new mold), which makes it significantly more effective for Defense customizations. Therefore, the new mold is the preferred choice for Defense customs using Earth, while the original mold would be the best for Stamina.

Use in Defense Customization
Earth is best utilized in the staple Defense customization, MF-H Earth Aquario C145RS/RSF/CS. The heavy weight of the Metal Face, and C145 make it difficult to knock around, and C145 provides exceptional Defense against low Attackers such as Quetzalcoatl 90RF with its three movable wings. And to top it off, RS/RSF/CS is able to withstand powerful Attacks due to its wide surface area.

Use in Stamina Customization
Earth also has exceptional Stamina capabilities because of its attributes. Earth can be utilized in the top-tier Stamina custom, Earth Bull AD145SD. Bull is chosen due to it being one of the heaviest Clear Wheels with with a great distribution of weight.

Track: 145
*Weight: 1.5 grams

145, along with its variants (C145, DF145, etc.), was once the highest Track available, until the 230 Track was released with Flame Byxis. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity. 145, as tall as it is, makes it easily susceptible to low Attackers; however, this should not be seen as a drawback because Stamina Types are not traditionally designed to be used against Attack Types.

145 is also not restricted to the use of Stamina Types. 145 has in fact found its place in a top-tier Attack Customization as described below:

Use in Attack Customization
145 can be put to good use in the Attack custom, MF Pegasis 145RF. Pegasis has been proven to perform viciously when used in unison with 145, which maximizes the effectiveness of its Smash Attack.

Use in Stamina Customization
145 can be put to good use in the custom, Earth Bull 145SD.

Bottom: Wide Defense
*Weight: 0.7 grams
Wide Defense, as its name implies is the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, and now WD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms. Because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D or SD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two Stamina types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as Virgo DF145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.

WD has significant defensive capabilities as well, but because it still uses a form of sharp tip, its friction with the stadium floor is decreased, which as a result makes it easier to knock around than something like WB which has much more friction with the stadium floor. WD does of course offer superior Stamina to WB which in rare cases would be an advantage, but WB more often than not has enough Stamina to outlast Attack types.

Use in Stamina Customization
WD is arguably the best of the “Defense” series of Bottoms, and its effectiveness can be utilized in the custom Earth Bull AD145WD.

Use in Defense Customization
If you want to add some more Stamina to your Defense customization, while still retaining much defensive capability, swap out WB or B for WD. MF Virgo ED145WD is a good example of this.
Overall
Earth Aquila 145WD uncustomized is a quite strong Stamina type by itself, and taken separately, Earth and WD have uses in not only Stamina, but in top-tier Defense customizations as well. 145 is somewhat expendable, but is still useful in the absence of DF145.
Use in Defense Customization
Earth can be utilized in the Defense customization, MF-H Earth Bull GB145RS.

Use in Stamina Customization
Earth also has exceptional Stamina capabilities and can be utilized in the Stamina custom Earth Bull AD145SD.

Track: Gravity Bowl 145
*Weight: 4.5 grams
GB145 is a wide, round Track featuring two free moving metal balls. These balls move toward the outside of the Track while spinning, causing additional spin retaining force, similar to Draciel Metal Ball Defenser's Metal Ball Base from the plastic generation. Weighing in at 4.5 grams, GB145 is currently the third heaviest Track available, and as such is extremely useful in Defense customizations. However, because it lacks energy-absorbing free spinning wings, it is not as effective as C145 against low attackers such as Quetzalcoatl 90RF.

Where GB145 does shine is when it is utilized in Defense customizations against high CH120-based Attackers, such as MF Lightning L Drago CH120RF. These types of Attackers do not aim to hit the Track, and thus the free spinning wings of C145 are not necessary, and you instead get a significant increase in the overall weight of the customization.

Use in Defense Customization
GB145 can be utilized in the Defense customization MF-H Earth Aquario GB145RS. The Bull clear wheel may also be used as a subsitute if Aquario is unavaliable.

Bottom: Ball Sharp
*Weight: 1 gram
BS offers very little movement and provides no Attack potential. The pointed tip allows for very little friction between the Bottom and the stadium surface, which helps prevent the loss of spin velocity. BS has decent Stamina, but it experiences the balance issues that the S series bottoms share because its tip is so fine. D, WD and SD are better choices.

In April 2008, TAKARA-TOMY announced the return of the Beyblade toyline with a completely new series called Metal Fight Beyblade (MFB) in Japan, after having suspended production in 2005. This new series is targeted towards a whole new generation of kids. The first releases were in stores around August 9th 2008. To gain a wider audience, a manga drawn by Adachi Takafumi, an anime and a Nintendo DS game that feature a whole new cast of characters have since been released, and sales have only been increasing. A new official organization called World Beyblade Battle Association (WBBA) constantly hosts tournaments in Japanese shops and in bigger events, such as the bi-annual World Hobby Fair. In a recent press release, TAKARA-TOMY indirectly revealed that Metal Fight Beyblade should be active, perhaps outside Japan, until 2012.

Starting in spring 2010, Hasbro will be distributing Beyblade: Metal Fusion in Canada, and fall 2010 in the United States and UK. It is unknown at the moment whether other countries will get the new beyblades around the same time.
__TOC__

Components of MFBs
Before the beginning of the anime in April 2009, Metal Fight Beyblades were constituted of four parts:
*Face/Face Bolt: Hexagonal screw-like piece that fastens the Beyblade together, similar to Bit Protector from the HMS. They feature graffiti-style illustrations on the top (i.e. Bull, Pegasis, etc). With the introduction of the Hybrid Wheel System also came the Metal Faces, which are 3.5 grams heavier than normal Faces, therefore they help add weight to a Beyblade. After BB-27, Faces have become blank and stickers now have to be added on them.
*Wheel: Main source of attack from a Beyblade; unlike HMS, the Wheel is completely made out of metal to compensate for the lack of a Weight Disk. They use various shaped protrusions to lower the spin velocity of an opponent. The Wheel is fundamentally the same as the Attack Ring from the HMS and plastic Beyblades. The shooter connects directly to the Wheel and does not depend on the Face or the Track for a solid connection. The Wheel determines the spin direction of the Beyblade.
*Track/Spin Track: The Track is the component of the Beyblade that connects the Wheel and Bottom. The Track determines the height of the Beyblade. Their names (when read with a decimal before the last digit) determine their height in millimeters. For example, Pegasis' Track is called 105, which stands for 10.5 MM. Some Tracks have gimmicks which help make multiple good customizations since some of them are significantly heavier than others, like Flame Sagittario’s C145 Track.
*Bottom/Performance Tip: The bottom of the Beyblade. It has interchangeable tips which the Beyblade spins on. Movement patterns can be altered with the differently shaped tips that can be used. It is similar to the Blade Base from plastic Beyblades or the Running Core from HMS. The Bottom is indicated by the (sometimes two) last letter(s) of a Beyblade’s name: for instance, Capricorne 100HF, where HF is the Bottom and stands for Hole Flat.

Faces and Bottoms are screwed onto the Tracks by using a Tool, which resembles an assembling key. One of its side is hexagonal-shaped to fit around the Face, and the opposite side is more round.

Hybrid Wheel System
Coinciding with the release of the anime in April 2009, a new system was introduced which has five components instead: the Hybrid Wheel System (HWS). The structure is very similar to the four-parts system, but it differs in that the Wheel is now separated into two:
*Clear Wheel/Energy Ring: Upper part of the Hybrid Wheel which is made of clear polycarbonate, a kind of plastic that is supposed to be more resistant than normal. All plastic parts of a Metal Fight Beyblade are made out of that plastic. Unfortunately, most Clear Wheels rarely get to make a good impact in the game unless there is a significant height difference between two Beyblades; only the L Drago, Perseus and Meteor L Drago Clear Wheel obviously comes into play, as it is wider and that it actually extends to cover the Metal Wheel. However, Clear Wheels are mostly different because of their slight weight variations.
*Metal Wheel/Fusion Wheel: As the name indicates, it is basically a thinner metal equivalent of the normal Wheel. The Metal Wheel mostly determines the weight of the Hybrid Wheel, as well as the type of attack of the beyblade because it is usually wider than the Clear Wheel.

Together, the Clear and Metal Wheels’ weight is equivalent to that of a normal Wheel. Also, the Clear Wheel is the second part of a Hybrid Wheel name, while the Metal Wheel comes first: for example, Storm Pegasis – Storm is the Metal Wheel, Pegasis is made of plastic.

TAKARA-TOMY has also been releasing Random Booster Light Volumes in which the Metal Wheels are replaced by Light Wheels: most of those are the plastic equivalent of already existing Metal Wheels, except Heat which only exists as a Light Wheel. There is no point in using Light Wheels competitively unless only that type of Wheel is used. Because of the huge drop in weight the different material causes, Light Wheel Beyblades do not spin for as long as normal Beyblades. In short, Random Booster Light Volumes are mostly an opportunity to get Clear Wheels, Tracks and Bottoms of different colours, or special parts that only come with the prize Beyblade of the Random Booster.

A special note must be made about left-spin Wheels: not only do they require a special launcher currently not sold separately, but, in the case of Hybrid Wheels, left-spin Clear Wheels and Metal Wheels are incompatible with the ones that spin in opposite direction. That is both due to small ‘walls’ in the Clear Wheels where the hooks of the launcher are supposed to be inserted, and another, parallel wall on the Metal Wheel that prevents the opposite spin launcher’s hooks from getting under the Clear Wheel. In other words, at the moment, the Lightning Metal Wheel and the L Drago Clear Wheel can only go together, while all the other Clear Wheels and Metal Wheels are interchangeable amongst each other.

Types
There are four different types of MFBs:
* Stamina
*Balance
*Attack
*Defense

These can be easily compared to the types of the plastic generation, the only difference being that survival/endurance is being called stamina.

Size Difference
Metal Fight Beyblade's are smaller than plastic generation Beyblades, and about the same size as those of the HMS series.

Shooter and Beypointer
There are currently three types of launchers: the Right Launcher; the BeyLauncher, a string shooter which allows for a more powerful launch; and the Beylauncher-L (also called Launcher L), which is exclusive to left-spin beyblades and is only sold with L- Drago 105F ,Lightning L-Drago 100HF, and Meteo L-Drago LW105LF.A Beypointer was also released as a device that records your points from battles, and a few accessories were developed to help ease the player's grip on the launchers.

Stadiums
Multiple stadiums have been released, some of which are comparable to the Takara HMS ones, and others that are more innovative like Wide Square and Super Attack.

WBBA
The WBBA (World Beyblade Battle Association) is an association being run by TAKARA-TOMY to promote Metal Fight Beyblade, by holding tournaments and giving away prizes to Beybladers who achieve a certain amount of points using the Beypointer.

WBBA shops can be found in numerous Japanese toy stores. These give access to a Bey Tai 1 arcade machine, which allows players to test beyblades and win prizes.

Limited
*TAKARA-TOMY also released BB-00 Pegasis Prototype. It is a silver version of Pegasis which is either without paint or simply bare die cast. Since it is event exclusive, this Beyblade cannot be purchased officially through online stores. Japanese people could however easily get one by either going to the World Hobby Fair 2008 or by playing on the GanGan Stadium arcade machine (Bey Tai 1) and winning three consecutive matches.
*TAKARA-TOMY will reward players in Japan a special, limited edition Beyblade (Quetzalcoatl 90WF (08/2008-08/2009) and Anubis (08/2009-08/2010)) for obtaining a certain amount of points (15000) through battling other players in the WBBA and collecting five sub-licence cards and getting a premium licence card.

Conclusion
Metal Fight Beyblade offers some very interesting customization possibilities and several beyblades can beat the best blades of the previous series at the moment. The important variety of parts that can be used even if the series is still young makes the game quite balanced because there are no ultimate combinations such as zombies.
