__TOC__

Face: L Drago
The Face on this Beyblade depicts a Dragon, Draco, one of the 88 constellations in space.

Clear Wheel: L Drago
*Weight: 3.7 grams

The L Drago Clear Wheel features three Dragon-head designs formed to create a circle. It carries a few distinct differences from most of the Hybrid Wheel System;
* Left-spin only.
* Unique shape is only compatible with Lightning Metal Wheel.
* L Drago's unique function is mode change. Turning it 180° allows one to switch between two modes on the Metal Wheel; Upper to Multi-Hit Mode. The Clear Wheel allows this differentiation since it covers three of the six protrusions at all times.

Metal Wheel: Lightning
*Weight: 30 grams
This Wheel is characterized by its prominent Smash Attack in Upper Mode. Of the total six protrusions, three are of the ‘Upper Mode’ and three are of the ‘Multi-Hit mode’. To switch between these modes, the Beyblade would need to be disassembled, and then the L Drago Clear Wheel rotated 180°.

Of the two available modes it is widely considered that ‘Upper Mode’ is superior. Contrary to the name, the strength of this wheel doesn’t come from Upper Attack, but Smash Attack. Lightning does suffer from some recoil, but this problem can easily be rectified with both MF and RF. Paired with the right Track, Lightning can provide a ferocious Smash Attack. Although Lightning is a good "Smash Attacker" it is outclassed by both Blitz and VariAres.

Use in Attack Customization
A current top-tier Attack combo is MF Lightning L Drago BD145LRF (Upper Mode). Metal Face and LRF help reduce the recoil Lightning experiences, and BD145 boosts Lightning's weight which aids it in creating better smashes and also defending itself when against other Attack combos.

Track: 100
*Weight: 1.0 grams
This track is currently the third lowest track available, but is outclassed in terms of Attack and Stamina by the 85 and 90 Tracks. 100 usually has no problem with floor scrapes, and while it is generally an outclassed part, is still competitively viable, particularly in Attack customizations where it is able to make good contact with most opposing Beyblades.

Use in Stamina Customization
If 85 or 90 are not available, 100 can be put to use in the custom Earth Bull 100WD.

Use in Attack Customization
If 85 and 90 are not available, 100 can be put to good use in the combo MF Lightning L Drago 100LRF.

Use in Defense Customization
If 85 or 90 are not available, 100 can be put to use in the custom MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 100RS.

Bottom: Hole Flat
*Weight: 0.5 grams

HF has a very similar movement speed to that of F, with the main difference being a slight Stamina improvement due to the hole in the middle of the tip. However, this comes with the detriment of even less grip to the stadium floor than F, as well as increased fragility.

Other Versions
* Lightning L. Drago 100HF Kyokuryuu ver. - Coro Coro Limited Edition (Black Clear Wheel, Track and Bottom; Gold Metal Wheel)
*Lightning L. Drago 100HF Hasbro Recolor ver. - Hasbro Beyblade Metal Fusion Super Vortex Battle Set ( Gold Chrome Clear wheel, Red Chrome Metal wheel, blue track and bottom)
*Lightning L drago 100HF- Faceoff: Dragon Bite Strike (dark blue heads, "L drago" word removed from face)

Gallery
<gallery>
Image:00LLDrago.JPG|Lightning L Drago (Upper Mode)
Image:002LLDrago.JPG|Lightning L Drago (Multi-hit Mode)
Image:04LLDrago.JPG|L Drago Clear Wheel
Image:05LLDrago.JPG|L Drago Clear Wheel
Image:08LLDrago.JPG|100 Track
Image:0009LLDrago.JPG|Hole Flat
</gallery>

Overall
Lightning L Drago 100HF is a useful Beyblade with more than one top-tier part included. While Hole Flat is only adequate, the 100 Track is an alternative to the 90 and 85 Tracks; which are more difficult to obtain. However, the real reason to own this Beyblade is Lightning L Drago; its effective Smash Attack in Upper mode makes it a worthwhile purchase for all Bladers. Every Blader should own Multiples of this Beyblade.

L Drago Guardian is TAKARA-TOMY's attempt to make a defensive version of L Drago Destroy.

Face: L Drago IV
This mark features a more complete form of L Drago, while also showing a more aggressive design. "L Drago" isn't written anymore, and, instead, the rest of the dragon's neck is shown as well as its left hand, its right arm and its right shoulder.

4D Metal Wheel: L Drago Guardian
*Weight: 45.7 grams

Like all L Drago Wheels, L Drago Guardian is incompatible with other Wheels, and its gimmick is a mode change by rotation of the Metal Frame, as well as the reintroduction of rubber.

Metal Frame
*Weight: 39.7 grams
L Drago Guardian's Metal Frame is heavily inspired from L Drago Destroy, hence the name similarities. In fact, the shapes are almost identical, but L Drago Guardian was made to resemble three dragon heads adorned by armours, so the relief on this part is more inexistent and the jagged edges of L Drago Destroy are replaced by smooth angles. These armours are cut into overlapping segments, which create the only relief on the Metal Frame. There are some ornaments on the end of each segment, and each of the three dragon heads is designed to have a helmet too.

In Attack Mode, the heads of the Metal Frame are on top of the outer rubber parts of the Core, making more of the Metal Frame be open for contact.

In Absorption Mode, the rubber of the Core appears in the interstices of the Metal Frame while the PVC part of it is covered by the dragon heads on the Metal Frame.

Core
*Weight: 6.0 grams

Track: Shield 130
*Weight: 3.3 grams
Made only of plastic, S130 has a horizontal disk attached to its centre. This disk actually consists of eight arms linked by some relatively round webs of plastic, which overall forms an imperfect circle.

In April 2008, TAKARA-TOMY announced the return of the Beyblade toyline with a completely new series called Metal Fight Beyblade (MFB) in Japan, after having suspended production in 2005. This new series is targeted towards a whole new generation of kids. The first releases were in stores around August 9th 2008. To gain a wider audience, a manga drawn by Adachi Takafumi, an anime and a Nintendo DS game that feature a whole new cast of characters have since been released, and sales have only been increasing. A new official organization called World BeyBlade Association (WBBA) constantly hosts tournaments in Japanese shops and in bigger events, such as the bi-annual World Hobby Fair. In a recent press release, TAKARA-TOMY indirectly revealed that Metal Fight Beyblade should be active, perhaps outside Japan, until 2012.

Starting in spring 2010, Hasbro began distributing Beyblade: Metal Fusion in Canada, and fall 2010 in the United States and UK. It is unknown at the moment whether other countries will get the new beyblades around the same time.
On March 28 2011, TAKARA-TOMY released the third series of MFB, Metal Fight Beyblade 4D. In 2011, Hasbro released the second Metal Fusion series under the name Beyblade: Metal Masters.
__TOC__

Components of MFBs
Before the beginning of the anime in April 2009, Metal Fight Beyblades were constituted of four parts:
*Face/Face Bolt: Hexagonal screw-like piece that fastens the Beyblade together, similar to Bit Protector from the HMS. They feature graffiti-style illustrations on the top (i.e. Bull, Pegasis, etc). With the introduction of the Hybrid Wheel System also came the Metal Faces, which are 3.5 grams heavier than normal Faces, therefore they help add weight to a Beyblade. From BB-27 through BB-46, Faces are blank, and stickers must be applied to them. Starting from BB-47, Faces became printed again up until BB-105, when they were once again made blank.
*Wheel: Main source of attack from a Beyblade; unlike HMS, the Wheel is completely made out of metal to compensate for the lack of a Weight Disk. They use various shaped protrusions to lower the spin velocity of an opponent. The Wheel is fundamentally the same as the Attack Ring from the HMS and plastic Beyblades. The shooter connects directly to the Wheel and does not depend on the Face or the Track for a solid connection. The Wheel determines the spin direction of the Beyblade.
*Track/Spin Track: The Track is the component of the Beyblade that connects the Wheel and Bottom. The Track determines the height of the Beyblade. Their names (when read with a decimal before the last digit) determine their height in millimeters. For example, Pegasis' Track is called 105, which stands for 10.5 MM. Some Tracks have gimmicks which help make multiple good customizations since some of them are significantly heavier than others, like Flame Sagittario’s C145 Track.
*Bottom/Performance Tip: The bottom of the Beyblade. It has interchangeable tips which the Beyblade spins on. Movement patterns can be altered with the differently shaped tips that can be used. It is similar to the Blade Base from plastic Beyblades or the Running Core from HMS. The Bottom is indicated by the (sometimes two) last letter(s) of a Beyblade’s name: for instance, Capricorne 100HF, where HF is the Bottom and stands for Hole Flat.

Faces and Bottoms are screwed onto the Tracks by using a Tool, which resembles an assembling key. One of its side is hexagonal-shaped to fit around the Face, and the opposite side is more round.

Hybrid Wheel System
Coinciding with the release of the anime in April 2009, a new system was introduced which has five components instead: the Hybrid Wheel System (HWS). The structure is very similar to the four-parts system, but it differs in that the Wheel is now separated into two:
*Clear Wheel/Energy Ring: Upper part of the Hybrid Wheel which is made of clear polycarbonate, a kind of plastic that is supposed to be more resistant than normal. All plastic parts of a Metal Fight Beyblade are made out of that plastic. Unfortunately, most Clear Wheels rarely get to make a good impact in the game unless there is a significant height difference between two Beyblades; only the L Drago, Perseus and Meteo L Drago Clear Wheel obviously comes into play, as it is wider and that it actually extends to cover the Metal Wheel. However, Clear Wheels are mostly different because of their slight weight variations and the area they cover on the Metal Wheel.
*Metal Wheel/Fusion Wheel: As the name indicates, it is basically a thinner metal equivalent of the normal Wheel. The Metal Wheel mostly determines the weight of the Hybrid Wheel, as well as the type of attack of the beyblade because it is usually wider than the Clear Wheel.

Together, the Clear and Metal Wheels’ weight is equivalent to that of a normal Wheel. Also, the Clear Wheel is the second part of a Hybrid Wheel name, while the Metal Wheel comes first: for example, Storm Pegasis – Storm is the Metal Wheel, Pegasis is made of plastic.

TAKARA-TOMY also released Random Booster Light Volumes in which the Metal Wheels are replaced by Light Wheels: most of those are the plastic equivalent of already existing Metal Wheels. There is no point in using Light Wheels competitively unless only that type of Wheel is used. Because of the huge drop in weight the different material causes, Light Wheel Beyblades do not spin for as long as normal Beyblades. In short, Random Booster Light Volumes are mostly an opportunity to get Clear Wheels, Tracks and Bottoms of different colours, or special parts that only come with the prize Beyblade of the Random Booster.

A special note must be made about left-spin Wheels: not only do they require a special launcher currently not sold separately, but, in the case of Hybrid Wheels, left-spin Clear Wheels and Metal Wheels are incompatible with the ones that spin in opposite direction. That is both due to small ‘walls’ in the Clear Wheels where the hooks of the launcher are supposed to be inserted, and another, parallel wall on the Metal Wheel that prevents the opposite spin launcher’s hooks from getting under the Clear Wheel. In other words, at the moment, the Lightning Metal Wheel and the L Drago Clear Wheel, the Meteo Metal Wheel and the L Drago II Clear Wheel, and the Destroy Metal Wheel and L Drago III Clear Wheel are exclusive to each other, while all the other Clear Wheels and Metal Wheels are interchangeable amongst each other.

4D System
Starting in April 2011, a new system, called "4D", was introduced. Its name is based on four expressions beginning with D's:
*Different Material
While 4D Metal Wheels are still made of the same zinc alloy with TAKARA-TOMY as far as is known and that plastic parts still use Polycarbonate, the 4D Clear Wheels include some metal powder in them, even though they are not considerably heavier than regular Clear Wheels.
*Divided Wheel
One of the biggest features of the 4D System is the fact that each Metal Wheel has at least two parts which can change modes at least once, almost always by rotating its pieces or even flipping them.
*Dynamic Drive
The 4D Bottoms have automatic and usually dynamic mode changes.
*Deep Custom
The possibilities for inner customization with the divided Wheels have increased.

<br>The parts of a full 4D Beyblade are therefore:

*Face
*4D Clear Wheel: The new type of Clear Wheel is essentially just like any other Clear Wheel from the Hybrid Wheel System, but some metal powder was included within the Polycarbonate. These are consequently compatible with every other Beyblade after the Metal System.
*4D Metal Wheel: To be considered a 4D Metal Wheel, a Wheel must be divided into at least two parts which can be moved to change modes. For instance, Big Bang has three parts which are called the PC Frame, the Metal Frame, and the Core. A total of four different modes can be built by simply rotating either of the pieces by just a few degrees. The Core is usually the lowest part of the 4D Metal Wheel, and it is the piece that has the small 'walls' that prevent the insertion of launchers' prongs that spin in the opposite direction, and it connects with the Track if one is used in the combination. The (Metal) Frame belongs right on top of the Core, and it normally has the appropriate shape to hold the Clear Wheel. Finally, the PC Frame is made of Polycarbonate, and acts as a smaller equivalent of a Clear Wheel while not replacing it. Not all 4D Beyblades have a PC Frame however, and it only attempts to absorb some more shocks along with the Clear Wheel. A 4D Metal Wheel's inner pieces are incompatible with another 4D Metal Wheel's, hence why each piece is not clearly indicated in the Beyblade naming system: for example, Fang has two parts, but is only called by one word. When referring to the placement of the inner pieces of a 4D Metal Wheel, the mode is simply said.
*4D Bottom: Also known as Bottom, or Fusion Bottom, but those names are less popular and less official. A fusion of the usual Track and Bottom, the 4D Bottoms include multiple functions that wouldn't be possible on a normal Bottom or Track, such as an automatic tip change which depends on the Beyblade's velocity, a manual tip change involving 3 different tips, and a bearing tip. The mechanism inside the automatic tip change has the purpose of beginning with a certain tip when the Beyblade is launched and spins with full power, and then either making that tip retract or have another one come out when it reaches a lower spin velocity. The change must be automatic, otherwise it is illegal. To compensate for the lack of a Track part, 4D Bottoms are generally as high as a 145 Track and a Bottom with an average height. They are additionally quite large and therefore heavier than normal parts.

While the lower number of parts and the inability to interchange the 4D Metal Wheel parts between themselves are a frequent subject of complaint from Bladers who are worried about customization, a whole new aspect is still developed with the multiple mode changes involved with these new parts, and not all Beyblades introduced in the 4D System are full 4D Beyblades, so new Tracks and Bottoms are still produced.

As always, left-spin-capable Beyblades have special Wheels made to only work on their own, and new gimmicks such as the absence of a Clear Wheel were made.

While releasing new versions of old Beyblades, the 4D Series is heavily inspired by the planets from our solar system for the most part(Jade JupiterS130RB), as well as some of the remaining constellations. And the rest of the constellations like the regular ones in the anime turn into 4D. For example Big Bang Pegasis, Fang Leone and L Drago Destroy transformed into 4D by the fragment of the star. In the 4D beyblade season in episode 124 it explains why Pegasis, Leone and L Drago Destroy became 4D because the beys represented the four seasons.

Types
There are four different types of MFBs:
* Stamina
*Balance
*Attack
*Defense

These can be easily compared to the types of the plastic generation, the only difference being that survival/endurance is being called stamina.

Size Difference
Metal Fight Beyblades are smaller than plastic generation Beyblades, and about the same size as those of the HMS series.

Shooter and Beypointer
There are currently five types of launchers: the Right light Launcher; the BeyLauncher, a string shooter which allows for a more powerful launch; and the Beylauncher-L (also called Launcher L), which is exclusive to left-spin beyblades and is only sold with L-Drago 105F, Lightning L-Drago 100HF, and Meteo L-Drago LW105LF, a Light Launcher-L that comes with L Drago Destroy and finally the Beylauncher LR which is able to spin Beyblades in either direction. Some exclusive launchers were released by Hasbro too: The "Rev up Launcher" and the "Wind and shoot Launcher". A Beypointer was also released as a device that records your points from battles, and a few accessories were developed to help ease the player's grip on the launchers.

Stadiums
Multiple stadiums have been released, some of which are comparable to the Takara HMS ones, and others that are more innovative like Wide Square and Super Attack.
The BB-10 Attack Type BeyStadium is recommended by most.

*Full List of MFB Stadiums

Hasbro: Pegasus Thunder Whip, Mobile Stadium, Super Vortex Stadium, Max Stampede, Lightning Force, Bolt Blast, Burning Firestrike and Triple Battle (yet to be released).

Takara Tomy: Attack Type, Balance Type, Stamina Type, Wide Square Type, Super Attack, Tornado Type, Extreme Type.

SonoKong:Triple Type Stadium.

WBBA
The WBBA (World BeyBlade Association) is an association being run by TAKARA-TOMY to promote Metal Fight Beyblade, by holding tournaments and giving away prizes to Beybladers who achieve a certain amount of points using the Beypointer.

WBBA shops can be found in numerous Japanese toy stores. These give access to a Bey Tai 1 arcade machine, which allows players to test beyblades and win prizes.

Limited
*TAKARA-TOMY also released BB-00 Pegasis Prototype. It is a silver version of Pegasis which is either without paint or simply bare die cast. Since it is event exclusive, this Beyblade cannot be purchased officially through online stores. Japanese people could however easily get one by either going to the World Hobby Fair 2008 or by playing on the GanGan Stadium arcade machine (Bey Tai 1) and winning three consecutive matches.
*TAKARA-TOMY will reward players in Japan a special, limited edition Beyblade (Quetzalcoatl 90WF (08/2008-08/2009) and Anubis (08/2009-08/2010)) for obtaining a certain amount of points (15000) through battling other players in the WBBA and collecting five sub-licence cards and getting a premium licence card.
Conclusion
Metal Fight Beyblade offers some very interesting customization possibilities and several beyblades can beat the best blades of the previous series at the moment. The important variety of parts that can be used even if the series is still young makes the game quite balanced because there are no ultimate combinations such as zombies.

Basalt Horogium 145WD is the fifth and final Beyblade in the Maximum Series. Basalt Horogium 145WD's "gimmick" is the "maximum weight" of its Metal Wheel.

Name Change
Basalt Horogium 145WD was released by Hasbro as Twisted Tempo 145WD.

Face: Horogium
* Weight: 1.05 Grams
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Horologium, one of the 88 constellations in space. Horologium is the pendulum clock constellation.

Clear Wheel: Horogium
* Weight: 2.71 Grams
The Horogium Clear Wheel was released in a grayish-blue color. It is gear shaped, with white Roman Numerals reminiscent of a clock decorating the circumference. However, there is a rectangular gap where "III" is supposed to be and 2 clock hands causing irregular weight distribution. Therefore, this Clear Wheel shouldn't be used in any Defense or Stamina combos. However, Horogium exposes the slopes on the Screw Metal Wheel, and can be used in the Attack custom described below.

Use In Attack Customization
Though Pisces exposes Screw better than Horogium, it can still be used in the Attack custom MF Screw Horogium 90RF.

Metal Wheel: Basalt
* Weight: 47.52 Grams
Basalt is a completely circular Metal Wheel, with sets of indents distributed around its circumference and is almost cylindrical in its thickness, part of which overhangs the Track being used in conjunction with it.

Basalt is a member of the Maximum Series, with its "gimmick" being "maximum weight". It is the heaviest Metal Wheel ever created; much heavier and thicker than even the infamous Libra. Basalt's circular nature, in combination with its abnormally heavy weight make it without a doubt, the absolute best Metal Wheel for Defense customizations.

However, Basalt is missing a chunk of metal inside its perimeter which forms what is called the "Spiral Staircase of Death". The "Spiral Staircase of Death" was meant to neuter Basalt's incredibly high power slightly by creating an imbalance within the Wheel. While this imbalance does indeed occur, it is not a notable hindrance to its usefulness. In fact, despite the imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death", Basalt also has strong Stamina, although it has since been outclassed by Scythe and Phantom. The imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death" does contribute slightly to the recoil Basalt suffers, but again, this is not a huge hindrance to its usefulness.

Use in Defense Customization
Although Basalt has recoil because of the metal missing from the wheel, its sheer weight alone makes Basalt more effective than Earth and even Libra at Defense. Its capabilities can be utilized in the staple custom MF-H Basalt Bull BD145MB/CS.

Use in Stamina Customization
Basalt may have a bad solo-spin time, but nevertheless, its Stamina in battle is impressive. In addition, its recoil reduces the opponent's rotation speed and can sometimes knock it out. Basalt's Stamina ability can be used to great effect in the custom Basalt Bull AD145WD.

Track: 145
* Weight: 1.47 Grams
This track is a regular, non-gimmicked track at the 145 height. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect to to its tall height, but has been outclassed for wobbler customs by 230. It used to be on par for Stamina customs with DF145, but AD145 offers better Stamina on a 145 height, and 85 offers better Stamina in general. Thus, it's outclassed.

Use in Stamina Customization
If AD145, 85, and 230 aren't accessible, 145 still can be used in the custom Phantom Bull 145WD. Though outclassed, it is still good.

Bottom: Wide Defense
* Weight: 0.7 grams

Wide Defense, as its name implies is one of the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD, EWD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms, specifically D. The advantages include it's ability for abnormally long precession times due to its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter. This allows it to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, and at a much lower spin rate. However, depending on the position of the Beyblade using WD and the spin rate of the opponent, this can be disadvantageous because of how easy it becomes to knock over the precessing WD custom. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. Nevertheless, this more often an advantage than it is a disadvantage.

Newer parts such as CS, EDS and B:D have overshadowed WD to some degree: CS and EDS due to their ability to be paired with the popular BD145 Track without scraping, and B:D because of it's height and even longer precession times, but WD is still one of the best pure Stamina Bottoms available. However, when selecting high Tracks such as TH170 and 230, WD's tendency to wobble at larger angles should be kept in mind, as it's extreme precession can often become problematic.

Although the name suggests Defensive characteristics, WD does not possess any inherent defensive qualities. However, it's proficiency can be increased significantly when facing left-spin Attackers through the utilization of the Weak Shooting technique.

Use in Stamina Customization
WD is arguably the best of the "Defense" series, and can be used in the custom Scythe Kronos AD145WD.

Other Versions
* Vulcan Horogium BD145RS - Random Booster Vol.7 Beat Lynx (Burgundy)
* MF-H Basalt Horogium 130RS - Strongest Blader Set (Yellow)
Image:BasaltHorogiumWD2.jpg|WD Side view
</gallery>

Overall
Basalt Horogium 145WD contains two top-tier parts that every Blader needs to play at a high level competitively; Basalt and WD. WD is one of the best Stamina Bottoms available, and Basalt, with its astronomical weight is indisputably the best Defense Wheel to date. Horogium, while a non-essential part, does have use as a good alternative to Pisces for exposing Screw's slopes. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.
Note: Hell Kerbecs BD145DS was released as a starter by TAKARA-TOMY with the Light Launcher 2, while the Sonokong starter was released with the Snipe Launcher.

Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is the second Beyblade in the Maximum Series. Hell Kerbecs BD145DS's "gimmick" is the "maximum diameter" of its Metal Wheel and Track.

Name Change
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS was released by Hasbro as Hades Kerbecs BD145DS.

Face: Kerbecs
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Cerberus, a former constellation in space and Kerberos, the 3-headed dog of the underworld and also Hades' pet.

Clear Wheel: Kerbecs
* Weight: 3.3 grams
This Clear Wheel was released in a translucent yellow. Like its Metal Wheel, it is split into three parts, each separated by a notch. The pattern repeated around Kerbecs depicts interlocked chains. Kerbecs is one of the heaviest and well-balanced Clear Wheels available, and has great use in Defense and Stamina customizations. Being one of the few three-sided Clear Wheels, Kerbecs is especially useful for three-sided Metal Wheels such as Hell and Ray.

Metal Wheel: Hell
* Weight: 39.6 grams
Hell was first released in a radiant gold colour. As a part of the Maximum Series, it had the largest diameter of any Metal Wheel ever released. However, Big Bang has since been shown to have an equal diameter.

Hell is split into three different wings which are shaped to represent the Three-Headed Dog, Kerberos, and between each of them is a large gap allowing BD145's protrusions (while in Boost Mode) to point upwards past the bottom of the Metal Wheel. On the side of each wing are four indents which, in addition to the end of each wing which ends in a pointed "head" for Smash Attack, increase Hell's Attack capabilities. Due to its heavy weight, its relatively high recoil is lessened by a significant amount and because of this, as listed above, in combination with BD145 (Boost Mode) it can be used effectively in Stamina customs.

Use in Attack Customizations
Hell's three wings and Smash Attack points provide consistent results against top-tier Defense customizations in the combo MF Hell Kerbecs BD145RF.

Track: Boost Disk 145
* Weight: 8 grams
BD145 shares a similar trait with its partner Hell, in that, like Hell is one of the widest Metal Wheels ever released, BD145 is the widest Track ever. This Track is unique both because of its width and also its ability to change modes. Changing modes is similar to how it is done with SW145, however this time, instead of removing the changeable part from the bottom and flipping it, it is removed from the top and then flipped. BD145 has two modes:

----
* Normal Mode
In Normal Mode the "Boost Disk" sits lower on the Track, which causes most Beyblades to scrape the Beystadium floor easily due to the three downward facing protrusions. However, when using a taller Bottom such as RF, this tendency is lessened somewhat, and the wide diameter of BD145, while it is not able to necessarily provide Smash Attack, it assists in "pushing" the opposing Beyblade out of the Beystadium.

* Boost Mode
Boost Mode works exclusively in combination with Hell. The three upward facing protrusions on BD145 go past the bottom of the Metal Wheel into the gaps of Hell itself and unlike Normal Mode, there is absolutely no space between the Metal Wheel and Boost Disk. This mode has proven to be incredibly effective in Stamina, Defense, and even Attack customizations.
----

Use in Attack Customizations
Somewhat surprisingly, BD145 found use in Attack customizations such as MF Lightning L-Drago BD145LRF. The increased diameter allowed by BD145 makes it easier to strike the opposing Beyblade, and in combination with the high Smash Attack of Lightning L-Drago and the speed of LRF, this combination is deadly.

Use in Defense Customizations
BD145 is the heaviest Track available, and that along with the fact that it almost completely nullifies low Attackers makes it one of the best Defense Tracks available. It can be used in the custom MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS/MB.

Use in Balance Customization
Along with having great Stamina, the combo MF Hell Bull/Kerbecs BD145CS (Boost Mode) also has good Defense against Attackers which will be partially neutralized by both the wide, plastic "Boost Disk", and the rubber surrounding the sharp tip of CS.

Use in Stamina Customization
BD145 goes well with Scythe and EDS. EDS, being a tall bottom, solves WD's scraping problem with BD145, thus, making it the best Stamina bottom with BD145. It can be used in the combo Scythe Kronos BD145EDS.

Bottom: Defense Sharp
* Weight: 0.73 grams
DS is essentially a hollowed out Defense bottom with a thinner Sharp tip placed in the middle, leaving a gap in between it and the outer "ring" that is created. There is no reason to use this Bottom over the multitude of other options available for both Stamina and Defense, such as RS, CS, WD, and SD.

Other Versions
* Hell Kerbecs BD145EWD Blue Inferno Ver. - WBBA Exclusive (Blue)
* Hell Kerbecs BD145DS Inferno Ver. - CoroCoro Lottery, later released with Mani DVD Set (Black Hell, Red Kerbecs)
Image:Hell16.jpg|DS
</gallery>

Overall
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is a great Stamina customization out of the box. Hell is outclassed and DS is negligible, but BD145 and Kerbecs make up for it by working very well in Stamina and Defence types. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.
However, when using a taller Bottom such as RF, this tendency is lessened somewhat, and the wide diameter of BD145, while it is not able to necessarily provide Smash Attack, it assists in "pushing" the opposing Beyblade out of the Beystadium.

* Boost Mode

It can be used in the combo Scythe Aquario BD145CS.

Bottom: Defense Sharp
* Weight: 0.73 grams

</gallery>

Overall
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is a great Stamina customization out of the box. Hell is outclassed and DS is negligible, but BD145 and Kerbecs make up for it by working very well in Stamina and Defence types. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.

* Weight: 3.3 grams

* Weight: 39.6 grams

* Weight: 8 grams

----
* Normal Mode
In Normal Mode the "Boost Disk" sits lower on the Track, which causes most Beyblades to scrape the Beystadium floor easily due to the three downward facing protrusions.

* Weight: 8 grams

----
* Normal Mode

* Boost Mode

EDS,being a tall bottom,solves WD's scraping problem with BD145,thus,making it the best Stamina bottom with BD145. It can be used with the combo Scythe Aquario BD145CS.

Bottom: Defense Sharp
* Weight: 0.73 grams

</gallery>

Overall
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is a great Stamina customization out of the box. Hell is outclassed and DS is negligible, but BD145 and Kerbecs make up for it by working very well in Stamina and Defence types. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.
Kerbecs is one of the heaviest and well-balanced Clear Wheels available, and has great use in Defense and Stamina customizations. Being one of the few three-sided Clear Wheels, Kerbecs is especially useful for three-sided Metal Wheels such as Hell and Ray.
The Face on this Beyblade depicts Cerberus, a former constellation in space and Kerberos, the 3-headed dog of the underworld and also Hades's pet.

Clear Wheel: Kerbecs
* Weight: 3.3 grams

* Weight: 39.6 grams

* Weight: 8 grams

----
* Normal Mode

* Boost Mode

Bottom: Defense Sharp
* Weight: 0.73 grams

</gallery>

Overall
Hell Kerbecs BD145DS is a great Stamina customization out of the box. Hellmis outclassed, while DS is negligible, but BD145 and Kerbecs make up for it by working very well in Stamina and Defence types. Every Blader should own at least one of this Beyblade.
