__TOC__

Note: Samurai Ifraid (pronounced 'ee-fraid') was the first release of the Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G series.

Stone Face: Ifraid
*Weight: 1.2 grams
This diamond-shaped Face illustrates Ifrit, a mythical creature of fire. The mark represents a simplistic demon head with small horns and some flames.

Chrome Wheel: Ifraid
*Weight: 30.4 grams

Like most Zero-G Beyblades, Ifraid's design is interrupted by a hole at one of its extremities to allow the Crystal Wheel's crystal to protrude through it. The rest of its design shows an engraved Ifrit face one one side, with two long horns reaching all the way to the other side, where a few flames are drawn into the metal, close to the hole. Testing has shown that Ifraid provides smash attack, but can be even more useful as the bottom wheel in Synchrom with Gryph in the combo MSF-H Ifraid Gryph W145R2F, as it has its main contact points exposed by Gryph.

Crystal Wheel: Samurai
Weight:
5.4 grams
Full Width:
46.14 mm
Height:
6.58 mm

This Crystal Wheel has a general shape that tries to embrace Ifraid's own relief curves. On one side, it has a big orb known as a crystal, and it is the part that truly combines Samurai with its Chrome Wheel. To compensate with this big orb, the other side is generally bigger so an overall balance can be gained.

However, Samurai can also be placed right on top of Ifraid. In its Chrome Up Mode, Samurai barely protrudes on the sides of the Ifraid Chrome Wheel, but, following this mode change, in Crystal Up Mode, it logically absorbs most if not all of the impacts and offers a completely different performance.

Track: Wing 145
*Weight: 2.2 grams

W145 is a normal 145 Track with six sharp wings that are slightly angled. The pointy ends are however cut off to form, overall, more of a dodecagon. It is based off of W105, T125, and DF145, but the downforce it creates is actually extremely effective compared to those three Tracks, and W145 succeeds in being a top-tier Stamina Track consequently.

Bottom: Circle Flat
Weight:
2.5 gram
Full Width:
33.80 mm
Tip Width:
mm
Full Height:
8.86 mm
Angle to real flat tip:
50°

This is a Flat Bottom with a large circle around it, fixed at its base, similar to D125's own ring. The circle helps embrace the acute slope of the stadium, which is useful in such an swaying environment as the Zero-G Stadium Attack Type. As with any other Flat Bottom, CF has a tendency to self K.O. when launched at high speeds. However, this can be avoided by launching slightly slower than normal, as the circle on CF can prevent the bey to self K.O. by gripping the slope of the Zero-G stadium when it has more control of its speed. CF's main purpose, however, is to use its circle to cause the Zero-G stadium to sway, thus throwing the opposing bey out of the stadium, which it does quite effectively according to many Youtube battle videos. It's main downfall is that it, like other Flat Bottoms, has little stamina. W145 can boost its stamina, though. CF is also not very effective against beys such as Thief Phoenic E230GCF, which can easily avoid being thrown out of the Zero-G stadium by such means due to E230 and GCF.

CF is also not very effective against beys such as [Thief Phoenic E230GCF], which can easily avoid being thrown out of the Zero-G stadium by such means due to E230 and GCF.

Note: The spelling "Dragooon" was probably chosen by TAKARA-TOMY to clearly differentiate the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade Dragoon tops and this Zero-G Beyblade.

Dark Knight Dragooon is the first left-spin Beyblade in the Zero-G series.

Stone Face: Dragooon
*Weight: 1.22 grams
With an original release of a blood red Stone Face, the mark on this sticker illustrates the profile view of a Dragon, drawn in a European fashion.

Chrome Wheel: Dragooon
With three heads, Dragooon strongly resembles most L-Drago Wheels, especially since it's a left-spin Chrome Wheel. Two heads circle almost half of its circumference in a lateral way, while one head is actually flat on top, offering relief upwards only by its lower jaw and teeth. Two webbed wings also cover the rest of the design, with claws encircling the hole where the orb from the Crystal Wheel gets inserted. The sides of the Dragooon Chrome Wheel are therefore composed of the top of one dragon head, the sides of two other heads, the curved structures of the wings' fingers, and the straight ends of the membrane between them. In general, Dragooon consequently has four sections.

Interestingly, Dragooon can be matched in Synchrom with Chrome Wheels that spin in the opposite direction. The combo it is in can only spin left if Dragooon is placed on top of the other Chrome Wheel though, unless another left-spin Chrome Wheel is positioned atop it instead.

Crystal Wheel: Dark Knight
Weight:
3.87 grams
Full Width:
Minimum Width:
41.0 mm
Maximum Height:
6.78 mm
Minimum Height:
3.5 mm
Dark Knight is composed of a half-circle of sharp studs, with another half almost resembling a scythe. An interesting feature of this Crystal Wheel is the smooth slope created by this scythe in its design. In its original release, Dark Knight is clear white.

Contrary to previous trends in Metal Fight Beyblade, Dark Knight can be fit on any other Chrome Wheel, even of the right-spin kind. It must be placed in Crystal Up Mode, however, to make the customization it is a part of spin left.

Track: Left Wing 160
*Weight: 2.36 grams
The LW160 Track is in most aspects entirely identical to W145, however the wings face the left, and its height is different.

While its tip is a simple Semi Flat one, it is mounted on an imposing base with a linear row of blades around it. These blades are generally shaped just like LW160's wings, however they are less spaced. BSF was clearly designed for optimal use in Zero-G Stadiums, where the blades on this Bottom could come into contact with the Stadiums' slope, considering the many angles that are possible in their new swaying gimmick.

Gargole is a Chrome Wheel with a design that spreads from the middle almost like a net: spikes indeed leave from the center while shapes like claws, at the bottom, and a monstrous head where the orb from the Crystal Wheel is inserted, at the top, form an overall part with four sections. The details in this Chrome Wheel however mean that it is filled with holes, making the monster head and claws situated at opposite ends of the Chrome Wheel be the denser parts. The bigger, spiky sections meant to remind more of wings, though, cover a larger portion of Gargole and their sides are mostly even, without interruptions like those caused by the horns on the monster's head.

Crystal Wheel: Archer
*Weight: 5.16 grams
Archer has large curves from a bow protruding around one half of its circumference, with some fancy string details engraved in the rest of the design, notably where the crystal is located.

Track: Switch Attack 165
*Weight: 6.18 grams
Reminescent of Armor 145, SA165 also has a wide, parabolic shape around its core which is completely hollow except for the rigid sides forming the parabole. This latter piece can be removed, flipped, and inserted back on the core of the Track to build another mode which is more likely to touch the stadium floor, especially in Zero-G Stadiums. The parabolic part is not perfectly smooth however, as it has linear ridges going towards the core, and its outermost circumference is full of small spikes like on E230 and GCF. Its diameter is considerable though.

----
* Normal Mode
When the parabole is ascending, with its diameter increasing toward the top, SA165 is in Normal Mode. Its wide perimeter is closest to the Metal Wheel or Chrome Wheel and offers a reinforcement to it.

* Zero-G Attack Mode
If the parabolic piece is flipped so that it forms a skirt that hangs over the Bottom rather than embraces the Chrome Wheel or Metal Wheel above, this Track is in Zero-G Attack Mode since it reproduces the wide diameter of efficient Zero-G Attack Bottoms such as GCF and CF.
----
*Weight: grams
WSF is simply a Semi Flat Bottom with a slightly wider flat section, and with a wider base. In other terms, it forms a bigger cut cone than SF was. Two sets of spiky shapes are also on either side of the main tip part, possibly to create a relation with Archer Gargole, the Beyblade this Bottom was introduced with.
Metal Stone Face: Gryph
The sticker on Archer Gryph's Metal Stone Faces illustrates the eagle part of a Griffin/Gryphon/Griffon.

Chrome Wheel: Gryph
Full Height:
5.01 mm

Gryph consists of eight distinct sections, similar in shape to those of the Leone Metal Wheel. Four of Gryph's protrusions have spikes curved in a right-spin direction, and the other half of the sections mostly consists of straight boulders, like on Bakushin. One of the latter sections is however in the shape of an eagle head viewed from a profile perspective, with the orb from the Crystal Wheel showing on the left border of the head. Opposite of the eagle head, Gryph has one main contact point that helps to provide Force Smash, when used as a Synchrom Bottom Wheel; Upper Smash, as a Synchrom Top Wheel.

When used as the top Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom
When used as a top Chrome Wheel, Gryph's compact shape makes it barely extend beyond other Chrome Wheels' circumferences. This means it can't make solid contact in most cases.

However, Gryph performs excellently on one Chrome Wheel: Pegasis. Because of the direction of Pegasis' smaller wings, Pegasis has more Smash on the bottom of a right-spin Synchrom customization. Gryph can fully expose those contact points, as well as help to increase the spin velocity of the combo.

Gryph can be used in the Attack combination MSF-H Pegasis Gryph W145R²F. If Pegasis isn't available, Ifraid can be used.

When used as the bottom Chrome Wheel in a Synchrom
Gryph, similar to its situation when at the top of a Synchrom, does not go past many Chrome Wheels on the bottom of a Synchrom. However, its smaller diameter helps in two ways: an increase in spin velocity due to the concentration of the weight, and revealing the contact points of the other Chrome Wheel. Gryph can enhance the top Chrome Wheel by giving it a higher RPM, which will allow more contact points to hit. Gryph also has a good amount of Force smash, which can help when facing lower opponents. Despite this, it is still outclassed by Chrome Wheels in Synchrom with themselves, such as the Wyvang Wyvang Synchrom. If two Wyvangs are not at a Blader's disposition, however, it can be used as a substitute in combos such as MSF-H Gryph Wyvang GB145R²F.

When used in Synchrom with another Gryph
Gryph can fully expose its main contact points when combined in Synchrom with itself, which creates a powerful Smash Attack customization. It also has a lot of Force Smash, due to its large Force Smash slopes. Despite this, Chrome Wheels such as Wyvang and Begirados outperform Gryph for Smash Attack.

The Gryph Gryph Synchrom does find use in Balance customs though. Thanks to Gryph's Force Smash, it can KO Stamina Types when used on a high-Track Balance combo. When paired with the E230 Track, it can also outspin most Defense Types that have tall Tracks because of the grinding from E230's disk. Thus, combining it with E230 helps defend against attackers and grind down the stamina of Defense Types. On top of that, with the Bottom BSF, which has nice stamina while still having the tendency to roam around the stadium, Gryph Gryph has excellent use in the custom MSF-H Gryph Gryph E230 BSF.

Crystal Wheel: Archer
*Weight: 5.16 grams
Archer has large curves from a bow protruding around one half of its circumference, with some fancy string details engraved in the rest of the design, notably where the crystal is located. Like any other Crystal Wheel, Archer is however too light to be effective versus all Synchrom customizations as well as most 4D combinations.

Track: Claw 145
Weight:
3.2 grams
Maximum Width:
34.0 mm
Minimum Width:
27.0 mm
Full Height:
14.50 mm
Claws & Platform Height:
7.8 mm

C145 has three wings which extend outwards, each separately joined onto the underside of the Track. These are free-moving, and hence when the Beyblade is launched, these point outwards due to spin velocity. Their free-moving nature makes them decently effective for defensive purposes, as they are able to withstand low hits to the Track without significant spin loss, effectively absorbing the shock by rotating inwards. Furthermore, the Track is heavier than non-gimmicked Tracks such as 145, providing extra weight essential for Defense. As such, the Track used to be an essential part for current Defense customizations in old metagames, however the release of many wider, heavier and taller Tracks has rendered C145 useless now. Even in Zero-G Stadiums, when the Beyblade wobbles, the claws might have impact with the floor, causing loss of balance, severe loss of stamina or resulting in the Beyblade completely ceasing to spin.

Bottom: Sharp
Weight:
0.6 gram
Full Width:
15.91 mm
Tip Width:
4.14 mm
Full Height:
8.83 mm
Tip Height:
6.82 mm
Tip Angle:
35°
Sharp was released as Spike in the Hasbro release. The Sharp Bottom offers very little movement and as such provides no Attack potential. The pointed tip allows for very little friction between the Bottom and the stadium surface, which helps prevent the loss of spin velocity. However, due to the fine nature of the tip, the Bottom is easily knocked off balance, and hence is outclassed by superior alternatives such as D or SD.
Overall
Gryph is an excellent replacement in Attack combos, and has great use in Balance customs as well. While Archer, C145, and S have no competitive use, Archer Gryph also includes a Metal Stone Face, which is useful for all kinds of customizations. This, combined with the potential of the Gryph Chrome Wheel, means all Bladers should own multiples of this Beyblade.
