The Beyblade Super Deck Set's purpose was to release combos that frequently placed among [[TAKARA-TOMY]] tournaments at the time of release. As such, it contains all re-released parts, but also allows an easier way to find relatively rare, competitive parts; most importantly, [[Libra DF145BS | Libra]]. Each Beyblade contains at least one top tier part: '''MF-H''' Pegasis '''85RF''', '''Libra 100D''', and Burn Cancer '''90WD'''. Pegasis is outclassed by most modern Attackers, but has served its time as a powerful Attack Wheel. Burn's Stamina does not compare to that of Scythe, Phantom, and Basalt.

The Beyblade Super Deck Set is readily available, and the variety of parts make it worthwhile for any Blader getting started with competitive battling, by providing a solid base for top tier Attack, Defense, and Stamina combos with minimal useless parts.

Basalt is a member of the Maximum Series, with its "gimmick" being "maximum weight". It is the heaviest Metal Wheel ever created; much heavier and thicker than even the infamous [[Libra DF145BS| Libra]]. Basalt's circular nature, in combination with its abnormally heavy weight make it without a doubt, the absolute best Metal Wheel for Defense customizations.

However, Basalt is missing a chunk of metal inside its perimeter which forms what is called the "Spiral Staircase of Death". The "Spiral Staircase of Death" was meant to neuter Basalt's incredibly high power slightly by creating an imbalance within the Wheel. While this imbalance does indeed occur, it is not a notable hindrance to its usefulness. In fact, despite the imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death", Basalt also has strong Stamina, although it has since been outclassed by Scythe and Phantom. The imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death" does contribute slightly to the [[recoil]] Basalt suffers, but again, this is not a huge hindrance to its usefulness.

Also, because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, SD, or PD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two Stamina types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as Burn Bull AD145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.

Basalt is a member of the Maximum Series, with its "gimmick" being "maximum weight". It is the heaviest Metal Wheel ever created; much heavier and thicker than even the infamous [[Libra DF145BS| Libra]]. Basalt's circular nature, in combination with its abnormally heavy weight make it without a doubt, the absolute best Metal Wheel for Defense customizations.

However, Basalt is missing a chunk of metal inside its perimeter which forms what is called the "Spiral Staircase of Death". The "Spiral Staircase of Death" was meant to neuter Basalt's incredibly high power slightly by creating an imbalance within the Wheel. While this imbalance does indeed occur, it is not a notable hindrance to its usefulness. In fact, despite the imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death", Basalt also has strong Stamina, although it has since been outclassed by Scythe and Phantom. The imbalance/wobbling caused by the "Spiral Staircase of Death" does contribute slightly to the [[recoil]] Basalt suffers, but again, this is not a huge hindrance to its usefulness.

Wide Defense, as its name implies is the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, EWD, W²D and PD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms. Many people choose WD over SD because of better balance, and better spin times. Also, because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, SD, or PD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two Stamina types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as Burn Bull AD145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.

The L Drago Wheel is the first in the series of "L Drago"s, and was thus the first left-spin Wheel released. Its design consists of three dragon heads facing counter-clockwise. The heads are flat where the "snout" and teeth of the dragons are and taper in a slope-like form towards the "horn" and "neck" of the dragons, where the thickest part of the wheel is.

The three dragon head slopes are in the shape required for [[Upper Attack]], but given that for Upper Attack to work both Beyblades must be spinning in the same direction, the fact that there are very few left-spin MFB, and that Upper Attack has never seemed to be effective with MFB, makes this point negligible. Despite the fact that the Wheel has no sharp contact points, L Drago does indeed have some slight [[Smash Attack | Spike Attack]] through the small details and angle changes on the dragon heads, but overall it is outclassed as an [[Attack]] type Wheel. Where L Drago shines is in destabilizing; it's left-spin direction combined with huge slopes provide powerful destabilization against the opposing Beyblade.

L Drago works exceptionally well in the destabilizing attacker ''MF L Drago 100WF''. MF increases the weight of the Beyblade, which is important in this case because L Drago is one of the lightest Wheels ever created, and while it may not have terribly high recoil, the fact that it is utilizing a plastic Flat Bottom with less friction than a rubber-based Flat Bottom, makes it easier to KO. The 100 Track lowers the Beyblade to a level where it is able to destabilize any opponent, without the risk of scraping the floor with a Track such as 85 or 90. Additionally, it also provides it with a minutely increased amount of precession time, which is vital for this custom, as it will regularly win by a fraction of a second. WF provides enough movement speed to help it KO it's opponent, while still retaining a relatively high amount of [[Survival | Stamina]] for an [[Attack]] type.

When pitted against [[Defense]] customizations not utilizing 230, this combo has an almost 100% win rate, and will win both by KO and out-spin depending on which parts it's opponent is using.

However, it performs poorly against Stamina customizations utilizing 230, just as it does against 230-based Defense customs, but against any other height ''MF L Drago 100WF'' has a decent chance at victory depending on the condition of the Bottom its opponent is using, the strength of their opponent's launch, and the Wheel being utilized.

Versus conventional Attack types utilizing a rubber-based Bottom such as RF, it also has a decent chance at victory. However, this is only if it is able to outrun said Bottom, something which is entirely possible with WF's high movement speed which rivals that of RF. In these instances it also has the ability to win by KO–often by simply "pushing" the opponent out of the stadium as it circles the Tornado Ridge (remember, WF has a tough time retaining the "flower" pattern)–or via out-spin due to its higher Stamina compared to the RF custom.

This combo is far from being perfect, but it is a very safe combo to use in a competitive situation, as you will almost always have at least a chance of winning.

When details regarding MFB were first released, one of the major disappointments that Bladers had was the fact that the multi-directional nature of Beyblades as seen in the [[Heavy Metal System]] was now a thing of the past. Thus, great interest surrounded the release of [[L Drago 105F]]. It was a novel release at the time, as L Drago was the only left-spin MFB available, but overall, it was a competitively disappointing release. Over time, however, L Drago came to find its competitive niche in the [[Attack]] custom listed above. The Track, Bottom, and even the Wheel are outclassed, but L Drago's usage in destabilizing attacker customs alone makes this worth a purchase.

Recoil, by definition is:

In Beyblade, Recoil is referred to as the often undesirable result of a collision between two parts, in which the Beyblade is knocked in the opposite direction after colliding with its opponent, resulting in decreased [[Survival | Stamina]] and a possible self-KO. Prominent contact points that make contact with another Beyblade is usually the cause of Recoil.

Recoil is not to be confused with [[Smash Attack]] however, as [[Smash Attack]] is used to try to Knock-Out your opponents Beyblade, where as recoil is a negative result of such a collision. Although Recoil and [[Smash Attack]] capabilities are often linked, the most effective [[Smash Attack]] Wheels are ones which do not suffer from recoil.
