The Face on this Beyblade depicts Cerberus, a former constellation in space. This face represents Kerberos, the protector to the gates of Hell.It looks like three dogs.

Hell was first released in a radiant gold colour. As a part of the Maximum Series, it had the largest diameter of any Metal Wheel ever released. However, Big Bang has since been shown to have an equal diameter.

Hell is split into three different wings which are shaped to represent the Three-Headed Dog, Kerberos, and between each of them is a large gap allowing BD145's protrusions (while in Boost Mode) to point upwards past the bottom of the Metal Wheel. On the side of each wing are four indents which, in addition to the end of each wing which ends in a pointed "head" for [[Smash Attack]], increase Hell's Attack capabilities. The [[Metal Face]] is a product released by TAKARA-TOMY which offered an upgrade in weight to a [[Metal Fight Beyblade]]. Metal Face is usually abbreviated to “MF” in customization notation. Currently, Metal Faces are sold two per pack, with a longer type Tool. These are similar to the [[Metal Driger#Spin Gear (SG): Heavy Metal Core | HMC]] of the Plastic Generation.

The Metal Face is 4.7g, and compared to the 1.1g Face, offers a 3.6g weight increase. This weight increase can be useful in many scenarios.

This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two [[Survival | Stamina]] types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as [[Virgo DF145BS | Virgo]] DF145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.

To effectively use this custom, you absolutely had to be able to perform [[Sliding Shoot]] because the window for landing a successful attack was much smaller than with other Storm or Quetzalcoatl-based Attackers. However, during the time Libra was banned, this custom's use diminished greatly due to the multitude of parts that were released in its absence. However, in December 2009 after countless tournaments were won, most through simply the use of a Libra-based custom such as ''MF Libra C145WB'', and seeing that the then new RF, the one part that could stand up to these customizations was difficult to control, the following poll was conducted:

However, despite the majority of votes going towards not changing anything, the proportion of votes that came from what could be considered competitive-level Beybladers was larger for the second and third options. Addtionally, those that voted for the first option did not provide compelling arguments as to why Libra should be allowed. In May 2010, Release 2 of the WBOs Standard and Universal Rules was released, with the decision that Libra was now banned from use outright in any competitive situation.

===How Libra Dominated the MFB Metagame and Why It Was Banned===
After Libra was released and weighed, it did not take very long for it to shoot to the top of the [[Metal Fight Beyblade | MFB]] metagame in both [[Survival | Stamina]] and [[Defense]] customizations, and eventually a remarkably useful [[Balance]] customization, as listed above. Aside from it's circular, uninterrupted shape, it's insane weight in comparison with other Wheels is the main reason for its game-breaking power. The fact that [[TAKARA-TOMY]] imposed the 47g weight limit essentially means they admitted that it was a mistake to release Libra in the form that they did.

If it isn't obvious already, the reason that Libra was banned was that it transformed Beyblade into a game of rock-paper-scissors. Of course, inherently the game will always be this, but Libra allowed for no deviation. You either used Libra or you didn't win. The game revolved around defeating Libra, and that isn't what a good metagame looks like. There was no skill involved. Restricting Libra would have been a nice compromise for both sides, made it more difficult to police it's use in tournaments, so banning it outright was a much easier option.

The opposition towards banning Libra was incredibly high, especially among players who owned one, but among high level, competitive Bladers, the game had become incredibly boring. In the end though, through the banning of Libra, the Beyblade metagame was undeniably opened up considerably, allowing numerous parts that may have never seen use to be utilized in top-tier customizations.

===The Reintroduction of Libra===
After almost nine months of being restricted, Libra was reintroduced into competitive play in February 2011 with release 3.5 of the WBO Standard and Universal Rules. As would be expected given the controversial decision to ban Libra, it was intensely contested almost immediately after the ban was put into place. The ban was originally imposed with no intention of it being permanent; its sole purpose was to help balance and open up the MFB metagame until a point in the future when the reintroduction of the part in question, Libra, would no longer be the dominating force it once was when Bladers were opposed with it.

Throughout the nine months that passed, the contention continued, and the Beyblade metagame evolved immensely; countless new and useful parts were introduced, an explosion of experimentation and testing occurred in unison with the growing userbase of the WBO, and Attack types finally became a dominant force in the game–especially before the release of RS and RSF–in the absence of Libra. The fear regarding the use of rubber-based Bottoms such as RF on Attack types diminished with the plethora of new effective parts that were released, and the customs that were discovered. There was no longer but one viable Track for Stamina, no longer but one viable Bottom for Defense; the game was no longer a simple game of rock-paper-scissors. To this end, the ban on Libra served its purpose. It shifted the focus of the game away from one particular part.

The Face on this Beyblade depicts '''Aquila''', one of the 88 constellations in space. In mythology, Aquila is seen to represent an eagle, which is featured on this Beyblade's Face.

Aquila was first released in a translucent purple colour. Each side of this Clear Wheel represents an Eagle's pair of wings, with the notches on either side representing its head. It was clearly designed to fit with the aesthetic of the Earth Metal Wheel with its two spikes/notches fitting nicely over the small notches on the inner section of Earth.

Earth has four thick, textured wings surrounding its perimeter, with each pair facing each other on a slight incline. The space created between the wings is quite small, and the resulting effect is similar to any Wheel that has no spaces: minimal recoil. Though it is on the lighter side of Metal Wheels, its almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil make it one of the best, if not the best, [[Defense]]-oriented Wheel currently available for competitive play.

Earth has two different molds. The first mold was released in BB-47 Starter Earth Aquila 145WD, and the second in both the purple WBBA "Event Special" MF Earth Aquila 105HF/S, and SonoKong manufactured Earth Metal Wheels. However, TAKARA-TOMY has since ceased production on the first mold, thus making it a difficult part to obtain. The second mold addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by modifying the inside of each of Earth's wings. The new mold is up to three grams heavier than the old mold (30-31 grams versus 33 grams on the new mold), which makes it significantly more effective for [[Defense]] customizations. Therefore, the new mold is the preferred choice for Defense customs using Earth, while the original mold would be the best for [[Survival | Stamina]].

===Use in Defense Customization===
Earth is best utilized in the staple [[Defense]] customization, ''MF-H Earth Aquario GB145RS''. The heavy weight of the Metal Face, and GB145 make it difficult to knock around, and GB145 provides exceptional Defense against low Attackers such as Vulcan Horseus 85RF. And to top it off, RS is able to withstand powerful Attacks due to the strong grip created by the sharp, rubber tip.

===Use in Stamina Customization===
Earth also has exceptional [[Survival | Stamina]] capabilities because of its attributes. Earth can be utilized in the top-tier Stamina custom, ''Earth Bull AD145SD''. Bull is chosen due to it being one of the heaviest Clear Wheels with with a great distribution of weight.

145, along with its variants (C145, DF145, etc.), was once the highest Track available, until the 230 Track was released with [[Flame Byxis 230WD | Flame Byxis]]. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its [[spin velocity]]. 145, as tall as it is, makes it easily susceptible to low Attackers; however, this should not be seen as a drawback because Stamina Types are not traditionally designed to be used against [[Attack]] Types.

145 is also not restricted to the use of Stamina Types. 145 has in fact found its place in a top-tier Attack Customization as described below:

==Bottom: Wide Defense==

Wide Defense, as its name implies is the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, and now WD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms. Because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D or SD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two [[Survival | Stamina]] types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as [[Virgo DF145BS | Virgo]] DF145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.

WD has significant defensive capabilities as well, but because it still uses a form of sharp tip, its friction with the stadium floor is decreased, which as a result makes it easier to knock around than something like WB which has much more friction with the stadium floor. WD does of course offer superior Stamina to WB which in rare cases would be an advantage, but WB more often than not has enough Stamina to outlast [[Attack]] types.

===Use in Defense Customization===
WD is arguably the best of the “Defense” series of Bottoms, and its effectiveness can be utilized in the custom ''Earth Bull AD145WD''.

If you want to add some more Stamina to your [[Defense]] customization, while still retaining much defensive capability, swap out WB or B for WD. ''MF Virgo ED145WD'' is a good example of this.
