WF provides enough movement speed to help it KO it's opponent, while still retaining a relatively high amount of [[Survival | Stamina]] for an [[Attack]] type.

When pitted against [[Defense]] customizations not utilizing 230, this combo has an almost 100% win rate, and will win both by KO and out-spin depending on which parts it's opponent is using.

Against Stamina customizations utilizing 230, it performs poorly, just as it does against 230-based Defense customs, but against any other height ''MF L Drago 100WF'' has a decent chance at victory depending on the condition of the Bottom it's opponent is using, the strength of their opponents launch, and the Wheel being utilized.

Versus conventional Attack types utilizing a rubber-based Bottom such as RF, it also has a decent chance at victory. However, this is only if it is able to outrun said Bottom, something which is entirely possible with WF's high movement speed which rivals that of RF. In these instances it also has the ability to win by KO–often by simply "pushing" the opponent out of the stadium as it circles the Tornado Ridge (remember, WF has a tough time retaining the "flower" pattern)–or via out-spin due to its higher Stamina compared to the RF custom.

This combo is far from being perfect, but it is a very safe combo to use in a competitive situation, as you will almost always have at least a chance of winning.

This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms. Because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D or SD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two [[Survival | Stamina]] types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as [[Virgo DF145BS | Virgo]] DF145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. RF has two different molds. The original [[TAKARA-TOMY]] manufactured RF, and then the [[SonoKong]] manufactured RF variant. Some of the TAKARA-TOMY RFs tend to spin around freely when twisted between fingers, due to the circular nature of the rubber that held the tip itself into place. However this problem was rectified by the SonoKong mold which flattened two opposite sides of the rubber that holds the tip itself into the plastic section of the Bottom itself. The flattened sides make it impossible to spin the tip freely, thus solving the problem.

The performance difference between the two molds is negligible, but it is likely that the SonoKong mode would be more sturdy by not spinning around.

As the name suggests, the [[Takara]] version of Flying Defense is able to fly. [[Hasbro]] removed this ability and made some other changes. This custom was primarily used to defeat [[Survival]] type combos in Hasbro stadiums. With a high movement BB, like SG Metal Flat 2, this combo will bounce off walls and push the opposing Beyblade into the pockets. Because of the size of the AR, it will not be able to KO itself. Obviously, this would not be effective against [[Defense]]-type combinations since they will be able to endure the hits. [[Attack]]-types are not this Beyblade's concern, and besides, experienced Bladers will usually not use Attack types in Hasbro stadiums.
