Leone is one of the first four Metal Fight Beyblade's released, and it is part of the Horoscope Series along with Pegasis, Bull, and Sagittario.
* Maximum Outer Diameter: 43.57 Millimeters
* Maximum Height: 8.97 Millimeters

Leone's Wheel has been designed to be very compact and is currently one of the heaviest wheels at 38 grams (coming in second only to Libra, which is 43 grams). Because of its heavy weight, its Defensive ability is quite high and it is not very easily knocked around and is able to outspin or deflect most opponents the majority of the time. Leone's Wheel is one of the top choices for Endurance type customizations, however it is closely matched by Pegasis in that regard.

Leone's potential as a compact Beyblade presently untapped, but if a Track similar to the HMC from the plastic generation is released in the future, this may be changed.
Track: 145 (14.5mm)
The 145 Track is the highest Track available. This Track is very high up and leaves the Beyblade open for attack from below, and doesn’t offer much balance.

Bottom: Defense
* Weight: 1 gram

This is a Defense Bottom, which acts as a wider version of a Sharp tip. When hit by an opponent, a Beyblade with this Bottom will have lessened recoil and will recover from attacks more efficiently than a Sharp Tip. However, while recovering, the Defense Bottom will cause the Beyblade to lose some stamina, caused by the added friction.

Use in Stamina customization
D was once the best Stamina bottom available, but is now outclassed by SD. However, it can still be used to success in Virgo DF145D.
Overall
Leone 145D is clearly one of the top choices for Defensive minded bladers at this point in time, and for good reason. It's compact design, and heavy weight make it hard to knock around and out of the Bey Stadium. Although, its one gaping flaw is it's height. Using Leone's Wheel in conjunction with the 145 Track leaves it wide open for Bull's Upper Attack. To alleviate this problem though, simply switch to a lower track, such as 125. This will increase Leone's Defense, and make it less prone to any Upper Attack.

}}

__TOC__

Face: Virgo
The Face depicts Virgo, the sixth astrological sign of the Zodiac.

Wheel: Virgo
*Weight: 37 grams
Virgo is one of the most smooth, circular Wheels currently available. It's circular shape is composed of two large, and long slopes which connect with each other to form the circle; however, despite their appearance, they don't offer any effective Upper Attack. These properties lend themselves well to Stamina, and despite it's relatively average weight in comparison to other Wheels, Virgo has found its place as the best Stamina-based Wheel currently available.

IMPORTANT: Mold Variations
One very important thing to note is the different mold variations that have been discovered for Virgo. Just looking at the Wheels themselves, it is impossible to tell what the actual difference in the mold is. However, through testing, it has been determined that there is balance issues that certain Virgo Wheels encounter. Some of them have been reported not having a solo spin time above three minutes while others are able to spin for over five minutes. The disparities between the Virgo Wheels cannot be ignored, so it is encouraged to test your Virgo Wheel by itself before using it in a competitive situation.

Use in Stamina Customization
You can put Virgo's great Stamina abilities to use in the custom, Virgo D125SD.

Track: Down Force 145
*Weight: 3 grams
DF145 has four upward facing wings protruding from the top of the Track, which aside from giving it extra weight are meant to push air downwards. While the effects of the wings themselves may be negligible, they likely do help stabilize the Beyblade they are being used on to some capacity. This capability makes it quite useful for Stamina customs, where staying balanced and retaining spin is of utmost importance. The wings can also help protect from low, 90 or 100 based Attackers, but to a much lesser extent than something like C145.

Use in Stamina Customization
DF145 can be put to good use in the custom, Virgo DF145SD.

Bottom: Ball Sharp
*Weight: 1 gram
BSs performance is quite similar to that of S. BS offers very little movement and as such gives no Attack potential. The pointed tip allows for very little friction between the Bottom and the stadium surface, which helps prevent the loss of spin velocity. BS has decent Stamina, but because the tip is so fine, it experiences the same balance issues that S does. Both D and SD are much better choices.

Use in Stamina Customization
If you don't have access to D or SD, BS can be used to some degree of effectiveness in Stamina customs such as Virgo DF145BS.

Other Versions
*Virgo 125BS - Random Booster Vol.2 Legend Pisces (Purple)
This version of Virgo includes 125. See the Bull 125SF article for information on 125.
*Virgo 100B - Random Booster Vol.2 Legend Pisces (Blue)
This version of Virgo includes 100 and B. See the Capricorne 100HF article for information on 100, and the Wolf D125B article for information on B.

Gallery
Overall
Virgo has found it's place as the best Stamina Wheel currently available, and that fact alone should be enough to warrant a purchase, but the original version also comes with DF145, one of the most popular Tracks for Stamina. BS may have been outclassed from the day it was released, but both Virgo and DF145 more than make up for it. Every blader should own multiples of this Beyblade.

Name Changes
Hasbro released this Beyblade under two different names:
*Cerberous
*Howling Spirit

Attack Ring (AR): Triple Attacker
* Weight: 7 grams

The AR of Burning Kerberous is very unique in that each of its wings perform a different type of attack. The thickest wing performs Spike Attack, the next wing (clockwise) performs Upper Attack, and the wing counter-clockwise from the Spike Attack wing performs Force Smash. This AR can be used to differentiate between the different types of attack, but it is a jack of all trades and a master of none; it cannot be used in serious competitive play.

Weight Disk (WD): Ten Wide
See Ten Wide

Spin Gear (SG): Neo SG Right (Double Bearing Core)
This is the prized part of Burning Kerberous. The Double Bearing Core contains two bearings (hence its name) and provides very good endurance. The tip is similar to the tip of Metal Change Base (Driger S); when the beyblade is shot at the center, the tip has very high endurance, and when the Beyblade is shot at an angle, the tip moves around in an attack pattern. The Beyblade also switches between attack and endurance during a battle. The bearing case can only hold one other shaft, Wolborg 2's shaft.

Sample combination:
*AR: Bearing Gyros AR
*WD: Wide Survivor
*SG: Neo Left SG (Double Bearing Core)
*SP: Survivor Ring (Dark Series)
*BB: Customize Grip (Dragoon V2)

This combination provides great endurance. The AR, WD, and SP work in unison to spin steal effectively, while the Double Bearing Base provides the endurance.

Support Part (SP): Cross Attack
* Weight: 2 grams
This SP is used for smash attack, but it is not very efficient, due to the shape of the projections. Other SP parts outclass it, like Fin Tector (Draciel V2)

Blade Base (BB): Customize Bearing Base
* Weight: 4 grams (10 grams with Double Bearing Core)
This Blade Base can only house the Double Bearing Core. Only the shaft of Burning Kerberous and the shaft of Wolborg 2 can fit into the Double Bearing Core. Therefore, there are only two ways the BB can be used. The blade base can be used with the Burning Kerberous shaft inside the bearing cases, which has great endurance, or it can be used with the Wolborg 2 shaft, which stays fixed when placed in the BB. The Wolborg 2 shaft, when fixed in place, is used for attack combinations.

Gallery
<gallery>
Image:BK8.jpg|Neo SG Right (Double Bearing Core) spin gear
</gallery>

Overall
This Beyblade has many uses in Zombie combinations. The Double Bearing SG is an upgrade from the single bearing SGs, giving the zombie/spin stealing combinations more endurance. It is disappointing that only the Wolborg 2 shaft and Burning Kerberous shafts can fit into the bearing cases.
* Weight: 8 Grams

Whale Crusher is useful for Smash Attack as it has a very wide attack range. In left spin, Whale Crusher has the ability to perform Force Smash attack. Eight Spiker is generally a better choice, but Whale Crusher's weight and size may prove more suitable to your strategy. Whale Crusher in right spin can be used in Defense type customizations and has a slight amount of Upper Attack. The Survival of this AR is generally considered to be too low to be used properly in a Defensive customization and Smash Turtle is usually preferred.

This style of attack is very risky as it generally has to win very quickly or it will just spin out, however the Metal Flat allows it to spin a little longer than if used Storm Grip Base.
This part's tip is what gives this BB it’s uniqueness. It is sharp but flattened on the very end. The movement pattern exhibited when launched straight into a BeyStadium is best suited for Endurance purposes. However, when launched on a slant it begins to move in a circular attack-type pattern. Seeing as a flat tip would sacrifice all of its Survival ability while a sharp tip would sacrifice its Defense ability. Being a mixture of both allows it to have very good Balance giving it quite alot of popularity in Compact customization. Here is a sample:
This is the second generation bit protector released; it is tighter that the initial bit protectors allowing for a better fit.

Attack Ring (AR): Advance Attacker
* Weight: 21 grams
The attack ring of this beyblade is Advance Attacker, its gimmick is a reversible Metal Frame. The Metal Frame separates from the ABS Caul so it can be flipped to provide Upper Attack ability or Force Smash attack ability. It is also characterized by being symmetrical, so the attack in left spin or right spin is the same. This versatility allows Advance Striker to be the best option for Upper Attack in left spin. In right spin however it is outclassed Circle Upper (Death Gargoyle MS) and Samurai Upper (Samurai Changer MS). Even though they both possess a 20 degree slope, the length of Advance Attacker's is only 1.5 cm compared to the 2.5 cm. of Samurai and Circle Upper. This difference of 1 cm. makes a noticeable difference to the amount of lift capable. The Force Smash feature is very useful if paired with an effective RC since 20 degree slopes make it one of the most pronounced force smash attack rings available. Uncustomized its potential remains untapped since Metal Flat Core is too short to utilize it.

The ABS Caul is a fairly conservative shape, it is nearly a full circle with three small triangular protrusions, and most of the contact is made by the metal frame. Other than some wear on the protrusions the rest of the ABS Caul will receive next to no damage. Its circular shape also allows for better balance.

Another feature of this AR is its size/weight ratio; weighing in at 21 grams Advance Attacker falls in the category for second heaviest attack ring. This weight combined by its small shape allows it to be a good choice for compact customizations. The only AR to weigh more and be as small is Jiraiya Blade (Jiraiya MS); but the difficulty obtaining that blade leaves this as a more viable option for most bladers. Other AR’s like Metal Ape’s (Magical Ape MS) are more compact, but weigh less.

Use in Upper Attack Customization
Advance Attacker can be used effectively in Upper Attack customs in both left and right spin.

* AR: Advance Attacker (Advance Striker) (Upper Mode)
* WD: Circle Heavy /CWD Defense Ring (Sea Dragon)
* RC: Grip Flat Core (Dragoon MS) Or Grip Flat Core Ultimate Mode (Dragoon MS UV)

Use in Force Smash Customization
With a taller RC, the Force Smash mode of Advance Attacker is perfect for Force Smash customs.

* AR: Advance Attacker (Advance Striker) (Force Smash Mode)
* WD:Circle Balance
* RC: Tornado Change Core (Dark Leopard MS)/Metal Sharp Core (Wyvern DJ) (Advance Eterner)/Manual Change Core (Dranzer MS)

Weight Disk (WD): Circle Heavy
* Weight: 16 grams

Running Core (RC): Metal Flat Core
* Weight: 3 grams

Metal Flat core was supposed to be an upgrade to Gaia Dragoon MS' Flat core, and in general it is. It has superior speed, survival and durability than its predecessor. The metal tip allows for extremely high speeds matching that of Metal Change Core (Death Gargoyle MS) and falling behind only to Grip Flat Core Dragoon MS) and Grip Flat Core Ultimate Mode Dragoon MS UV), and because it is metal, it won't be worn down through use in battle.

This RC also has the benefit for being extremely short. It is the third shortest RC bested only by Grip Flat Core and Grip Flat Core Ultimate Mode. This height makes is a good option for employing upper attack combos and compact attackers. By using the Sliding Shoot technique this can be an effective attack RC; without it though it is very uncontrollable and wild in the stadium. This RC is difficult to control in a stadium without a Tornado Ridge.

Use in Upper Attack Customization
The high movement speed of Metal Flat Core makes it a great choice for attack customs when Dragoon MS UV's RC is not a viable option.

* AR: Circle Upper (Death Gargoyle MS) /Samurai Upper (Samurai Changer MS)
* WD: Circle Heavy /CWD Defense Ring (Sea Dragon)
* RC: Metal Flat Core (Advance Striker)

Use in (Smash Attack) Customization
Because the tip of Metal Flat Core is metal, its survival capability is much higher than that of Grip Flat Core and other similar RC's. This, along with the compact nature of Metal Spring and Circle Heavy make this high spin-rate Smash Attack custom something that can be used to counter the generic Grip Flat Core (Ultimate Mode) customs that are so commonly seen in tournaments.

* AR: Metal Spring (Einstein MS) / Metal Ape (Magical Ape MS) / Jiraiya Blade (Jiraiya MS)
* WD: Circle Heavy

Overall
Advance Striker as a whole is a very well designed and constructed beyblade. Its attack ring does has effective upper attack in right spin, but it is outclassed by the two popular game breakers in the format (Circle Upper, Samurai Upper). This disparity prevents it from being used in most competitive play as an Upper Attack AR unless playing within Restricted HMS tournament Rules. Its real strength lies in its force smash ability and left spin upper attack; two attack attack style far less populated. Force smash AR's are few and far between, and the game breakers are only effective upper attackers in right spin.

The RC Metal Flat core is a very useful part to own. The low height, high speed and excellent durability make it a very good option for all attack combos. Its features lend itself well to Smash Attack customizations in a field overpopulated with Upper Attack Combos. Overall this is a good buy for HMS, and serious players+attack beyblade fans should have one in their collection.
Bit Protector (BP): Heavy Metal Emblem
The Bit Protector of this Beyblade is Heavy Metal Emblem. It is the first mould verson of Bit Protectors.

Attack Ring (AR): Advance Defenser
*Weight: 18 grams

Advance Defenser has two metal "rollers" which are supposed to help defend against attacks, but this is negligible. This AR also has two wings that come to a point and have shallow slopes that provide minor Upper Attack, though they are too light and gradual to be effective. However, although outclassed, this part can be used for Smash Attack customizations.

Use in Smash Attack Customization
* AR: Advance Defenser (Advance Guardian)
* WD: Circle Wide
* RC: Grip Flat Core (Dragoon MS)

This customization takes full advantage of the little Smash Attack that Advance Defenser has. Although outclassed, this customization will still do well with the Sliding Shoot.

Weight Disk (WD): Circle Heavy
See Circle Heavy

Running Core (RC): Grip Sharp Core
*Weight: 3 grams

Grip Sharp Core has a sharp rubber tip that can be used in Defense customizations. Even though it is outclassed, it still works well if nothing better is a viable option. The main problem is it is a sharp rubber tip; rubber tips have low stamina, while sharp tips are meant to have high stamina. The combination is a waste. It also means that the tip will have less grip or friction with the stadium floor as opposed to wider rubber tips, so it will not defend very well.

Grip Sharp Core can also be used in a "niche" Smash Attack customization called a Re-bounder in conjunction with a high smash attack (and high recoil) AR, such as Seagon Attacker (Sea Dragon). The concept is based on Newton's third law of motion in which "Every action creates an equal and opposite reaction." When an Attack type beyblade, such as a Smash Attacker is used against it, each beyblade is hit with the same amount of force. Normally, this would usually result in a double KO, but the Grip Sharp Core prevents that, and instead will KO the opponent. This, however, is unreliable, especially in larger stadiums. When it does happen, however, it works quite well. It is also worth noting that it works best when the tip is in mint condition. The Re-bounder must also be hit early in the match, because the beyblade loses spin velocity very quickly.

Use In Defense Customization
* AR: Circle Upper (Death Gargoyle MS)
* WD CWD Free Survivor (Thunder Dragon)
* RC Grip Sharp Core (Advance Guardian)

This customization uses Grip Sharp Core for defense. The AR takes hits well, because of it's circular shape, and the WD is free spinning, which also helps in taking hits. Grip Sharp Core helps keeps the Beyblade from getting KO'ed.

Use In Re-bounder Customization
* AR: Seagon Attacker (Sea Dragon)
* WD CWD Defense Ring (Sea Dragon)
* RC Grip Sharp Core (Advance Guardian)

Seagon Attacker (Sea Dragon) is perfect for this sort of combination. It has Smash Attack along with high recoil, making it harder to use in normal smash attacker customizations. As was said previously, this customization is unreliable, especially in larger stadiums, but it is interesting to try at the very least.
*Advance Guardian – HMS Random Booster ACT 4 Version (Combat Yellow)

Overall
Advance Guardian has completely outdated parts; Advance Defenser has Smash Attack but is outclassed by many other AR's, Grip Sharp Core, though it has use in defense customizations, is also outclassed by parts such as Bearing Core 2. This Beyblade has very little competitive use.
Overall
Although it is usable if there is a lack of better options, SG Flat is severely outdated and outclassed by parts such as the lower, faster Storm Grip base (Dragoon S)and the faster, longer-lasting SG Metal Flat 2 (Gaia Dragoon V). There is no reason to desire this BB outside of collection purposes.
