Leone is one of the first four Metal Fight Beyblade's released, and it is part of the Horoscope Series along with [[Pegasis 105F | Pegasis]], [[Bull 125SF | Bull]], and [[Sagittario 145S | Sagittario]].

==Face==
The face on this Beyblade depicts Leo, which is a sign in the Zodiac.
==Wheel==
* '''Weight:''' 38 grams
* '''Maximum Outer Diameter:''' 43.57 Millimeters
* '''Maximum Height:''' 8.97 Millimeters

Leone's Wheel has been designed to be very compact and is currently one of the heaviest wheels at 38 grams (coming in second only to Libra, which is 43 grams). Because of its heavy weight, its Defensive ability is quite high and it is not very easily knocked around and is able to outspin or deflect most opponents the majority of the time. Leone's Wheel is one of the top choices for Endurance type customizations, however it is closely matched by [[Pegasis 105F | Pegasis]] in that regard.

Leone's potential as a compact Beyblade presently untapped, but if a Track similar to the [[Spin_Gear#V and V2 Series Spin Gears | HMC]] from the [[Plastic Beyblade | plastic generation]] is released in the future, this may be changed.

==Track: 145 (14.5mm)==

* '''Weight:''' 1 gram

The 145 Track is the highest Track available. This Track is very high up and leaves the Beyblade open for attack from below, and doesn’t offer much balance.

==Bottom: Defense==

* '''Weight:''' 1 gram

This is a Defense Bottom, which acts as a wider version of a Sharp tip. When hit by an opponent, a Beyblade with this Bottom will have lessened recoil and will recover from attacks more efficiently than a Sharp Tip. However, while recovering, the Defense Bottom will cause the Beyblade to lose some stamina, caused by the added friction.
==Overall==
Leone 145D is clearly one of the top choices for Defensive minded bladers at this point in time, and for good reason. It's compact design, and heavy weight make it hard to knock around and out of the Bey Stadium. Although, its one gaping flaw is it's height. Using Leone's Wheel in conjunction with the 145 Track leaves it wide open for [[Bull 125SF | Bull]]'s [[Upper Attack]]. To alleviate this problem though, simply switch to a lower track, such as 125. This will increase Leone's Defense, and make it less prone to any Upper Attack.

A Zombie customization is a Beyblade combo that is designed to steal spin from the opponent and have the "Life After Death" ability. They must steal the opposing Beyblade's spin because they can not last long on their own compared to [[survival]] types. Zombies use specific parts in order for it to work together. The AR used on a Zombie are either compact or aligns with the WD in order to prevent any recoil from hits. The WD and SP used on this type of customization are usually circular in shape which allows a minimum amount of friction between the two Beyblades to let it steal spin as well as to help in the "Life After Death Ability". The BB and SG used determines which direction it steals spin in, what type of bearing and shaft are to be used, and whether or not to have a SP with it.

__TOC__

==Spin Stealing==

The most commonly known aspect of Zombie Beyblades, spin stealing refers to when your Beyblade uses the momentum of the opposing Beyblade to keep itself spinning. To do this, your Beyblade must be spinning in the opposite direction of the opponent's Beyblade. When the opponent's Beyblade hits yours, your Beyblade will use the rotation of the other Beyblade to propel itself to keep moving. In order to do this properly zombie blades must have a free spinning tip supported by bearings.
The origin of the name "Zombie" is not its ability to steal spin, but its "life after death" ability. The term "Life After Death" is used to describe a zombie's ability to continue spinning on its side after it has fallen over. If your Beyblade is still making complete rotations, it is still considered to be spinning. To have this ability, your Beyblade must be perfectly round at the points that touch the stadium floor when it falls over. For this reason, Wide Survivor is the best weight disk to use on zombie type combos.

==Parts Selection==

To build a true Zombie, there is a very specific list of parts that will work correctly. Below you will find a list of parts that will work with Zombie Beyblades along with their advantages and disadvantages.

===Attack Rings===

* '''Wing Cross ([[Bistool]], [[Gekiryu-oh]], [[Ultimate Frostic Dranzer]]:''' This AR is very light and the weight is distributed evenly. Unfortunately, this AR can only be used in right spin.

* '''Gyro AR ([[Bearing Gyros Magical Barancer]], [[Bearing Gyros Magical Layer]], [[Bearing Gyros Magical Stander]]):''' This AR is the perfect AR for [[Survival]]-type Beyblades. It has a perfectly round form with four small wings to steal spin. However, the Beyblades it originates from are incredibly rare.

* '''Twin Horn ([[Gabriel]]):''' This AR has a very round shape and small notches to steal spin from the opposing Beyblade. It also has a small amount of smash attack that can occasionally knock out the opposing Beyblade. Unfortunately, this can also cause Beyblades using Twin Horn to recoil. It is important to note that the Hasbro version of Twin Horn was modified to support a Sub-Ring and thus, only the Takara version should be used for Zombies.

* '''Tiger Defenser ([[Driger S]], Hasbro's [[Jumping Base]]):''' This AR is very compact and has small points where it can steal spin.

* '''War Lion ([[Galeon]], [[BBA Balancer]]):''' This AR is very compact and has small points where it can steal spin. Also, War Lion's [[free-spinning]] Sub-Ring prevents it from being hit hard by the opposing Beyblade.

* '''Turtle Survivor ([[Metal Draciel]], [[Master Dranzer]]):''' One of the less popular choices, it has great potential. It is very lightweight with perfect balance, and the four wings line up perfectly with [[Wide Survivor]] to steal spin.

===Weight Disks===
* [[Wide Survivor]] is the best choice for a Zombie combo. Its perfectly circular shape allows for life-after-death and lines up with most ARs well enough to steal spin. A spark disk version of [[Wide Survivor]] was released with sandpaper around the edge. This greatly increases its spin stealing ability.

* [[Wide Defense]] is the only other acceptable weight disk to use for a zombie combo. This weight disk became popular for zombie combos when players started using attack types to counter zombies.

===Spin Gears===

* '''Bearing Base ([[Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger]]):''' Although this BB does not have an SG, the metal shaft can be placed in Bearing SG ([[Wolborg]]) and Bearing SG 2 ([[Wolborg 2]]) to allow compatibility with [[4-Layer]] and [[5-Layer]] customization. Hasbro's Bearing Stinger has a harder tip than Takara's. Serious Japanese players would import Hasbro's Bearing Stinger for their zombie combos.

* '''Bearing SG ([[Wolborg]]):''' The most basic tip selection. However, only the [[Takara]] version is suitable; [[Hasbro]]'s Bearing SG has design flaws in the sharpness of the tip and the straightness of the shaft.

* '''Bearing SG 2 ([[Wolborg 2]]):''' Using this tip, you will sacrifice [[Survival]] for [[Defense]] ability. If you are facing a Beyblade with a significant amount of [[Attack]] ability, this tip may be a better choice than the others.

* '''Bearing Core ([[Burning Kerberus]]):''' Not to be confused with [[Wolborg MS]]'s Bearing Core, this Bearing Core is inserted into a [[Neo SG]]. Bearing Core is unique in that it has three bearings: two in the shaft and one in the tip. The one in the tip cannot be replaced, but the ones in the shaft can. It includes one [[NSK shield bearing]] and one [[metal bearing]]; you must replaced the metal bearing with an NSK shield bearing. The tip of Bearing Core is sharper than the previous tips, but it also has a lower angle that allows it to be shot into Attack-mode like a [[Metal Change]] tip.

===Blade Bases===

* '''Bearing Base ([[Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger]]):''' This BB, like the SG of [[Burning Kerberus]], can hold two [[NSK shield bearings]]. However, one of the included bearings is a [[metal bearing]] and must be replaced. Unfortunately, this BB can't be shot in left spin.

* '''Defense Grip 2 ([[Wolborg 2]]):''' A round an evenly-weighted base that serves itself well to all of the above-listed SGs except for Bearing Core. However, this BB cannot use SP (Support Parts).

* '''Customize Grip ([[Dragoon V2]]):''' Dragoon V2's tip can be removed and Bearing SG, Bearing SG 2 and Bearing Core can all be inserted. This BB is the only way to use Bearing SG and Bearing SG 2 in conjunction with SP.

* '''Customize Bearing ([[Burning Kerberus]]):''' Only the Bearing Core can fit into this BB; however, it is sleeker and smaller than Customize Grip.

===Support Parts===

* '''Cross Survivor ([[Dranzer V2]]):''' These SP slope upwards to protect against [[Upper Attack]], and have four symmetrical projections that can steal spin in either spin direction.

* '''Defense Ring ([[Voltaic Ape]]):''' These SP are perfectly round with small bumps running along the edge that will assist slightly in spin-stealing.

* '''Survivor Ring ([[Dark Series]]):''' These SP are perfectly round with three small wings that assist greatly in stealing spin. For the best performance, Survivor Ring should be used with a left-spin Beyblade.

==Tuning==

===Tip Condition===
The condition of your tip is very important in not only zombie types, but any type of combo. Generally, mint tips have greater survival, but are easier to knock out of the stadium, while worn tips have greater defense. This important depending on what kind of combo your opponent is using. Eventually, players started using attack type combos to beat zombies. This spawned the usage of parts such as Wide Defense and Defense Grip 2. Therefore, you should have tips prepared with different conditions to face different scenarios.

===Bearing Tuning===
'''NOTE: The following has been officially declared illegal under WBO rulings, and is being kept here for informational purposes.'''

To make a true zombie the bearings on your beyblade must be tuned. There is a grease inside the bearings that keeps them from rusting. This grease creates friction. To reduce the friction remove the grease. To remove the grease from your bearings you need paint thinner (or something that can produce the same effect), two cases that can close (Film canisters work very well, and if not, you can find suitable containers at any department store), and some kind of desiccant (something that absorbs the moisture in its surrounding environment, which keeps the humidity down and prevents rusting because metal requires water to oxidize). Pour the paint thinner into the case and then place your bearings in the case, and close it. Shake the case for five minutes. The paint thinner should change color. When this happens remove the paint thinner and pour in new paint thinner. Let it sit for about an hour and then remove the bearings. Place your desiccant in the other case and keep your bearings in it. Without the grease your bearings will rust exponentially faster which brings us to the next step.

'''Coating'''
To protect your bearings from rust you have to coat them in an oil like microlon (Microlon is used to create a dry-film lubrication that protects from rust and reduces friction.)
Pour the microlon in a bottle and place your bearings in. Let is sit for about an hour then remove the bearings. Dry your bearings with a hair dryer and repeat this process 3-5 times.

'''Seasoning'''
Even after being degreased there is still friction between the metal balls in the bearing. To reduce this connect your metal shaft to a motor and turn it on (The motor for remote control cars works)
When your bearings start to make noise the seasoning is complete. This can take from 1-5 days. Seasoning will make the metal balls in your bearing in to perfect sphere shapes.

'''The Community'''
Bearing tuning has become very frowned upon within the community. It has made the game broken and pretty much eliminates the fun of the game. Until [[Wolborg MS]] was released you could not win a tournament without a zombie type combo. The game became so broken that there have been talks of counting bearing tuning as illegal modification.

==Spin Stealing==

===Support Parts===

==Tuning==

===Tip Condition===

===Bearing Tuning===

__TOC__

==Spin Stealing==

==Life After Death==

==Parts Selection==

To build a true Zombie, there is a very specific list of parts that will work correctly. Below you will find a list of parts that will work with Zombie Beyblades along with their advantages and disadvantages.

===Attack Rings===

===Weight Disks===

===Spin Gears===

===Blade Bases===

===Support Parts===

__TOC__

==Spin Stealing==

==Life After Death==

==Parts Selection==

To build a true Zombie, there is a very specific list of parts that will work correctly. Below you will find a list of parts that will work with Zombie Beyblades along with their advantages and disadvantages.

===Attack Rings===

===Weight Disks===

===Spin Gears===

===Blade Bases===

===Support Parts===

==Tuning==

===Tip Condition===

'''NOTE: The following has been officially declared illegal under WBO rulings, and is being kept here for informational purposes.'''

===Bearing Tuning===

===Blade Bases===

===Support Parts===

==Tuning==
===Bearing Tuning===

===Tip Condition===
Pegasis is one of the first four Metal Fight Beyblades released, and it is part of the Horoscope Series along with [[Leone 145D | Leone]], [[Bull 125SF | Bull]], and [[Sagittario 145S | Sagittario]].

==Face==
The face on this Beyblade depicts a Pegasus.
==Wheel==

* ''Design change: The original design of Pegasis (seen below) was changed to the current design (above) sometime before the launch of Metal Fight Beyblade. No official statement was made, but the Beyblade community has speculated that it was because of probable breakage problems with each section on the Wheel.''

* '''Weight:''' 36 Grams

* '''Maximum Outer Diameter:''' Close Approximate 44.40 Millimeters

* '''Maximum Height:''' Close Approximate 12.16 Millimeters

The Wheel of Pegasis is one of the strongest parts in the current MFB lineup. Its original design appeared extremely offensive, but it has since changed (see above). Now, the Pegasis Wheel is actually the most defensive of any current MFB Wheel. It has the lowest chance of being knocked out or knocking the opponent out. It also has the best endurance of all MFB Wheels, with Leone placing a close second.

In right spin, which is the only current available spin direction for MFB, use this Wheel for Defense and Endurance purposes.

==Track: 105 (10.5mm)==

* '''Weight:''' 1 Gram

* '''Height (True):''' 10.34 Millimeters

This is the second lowest Track currently available. Pegasis does not have problems scraping the stadium floor when in balance with this Track.

==Bottom: Flat==

* '''Weight:''' 1 Gram
* '''Height:''' 8.93 Millimeters

* '''Tip Width:''' 4.08 Millimeters

The Flat Bottom has a flat tip, which gives it an offensive movement pattern. It is the equivalent of Flat Core (HMS) or Flat (Plastic).

==Overall==

Pegasis105F is not a very powerful attacker when it is uncustomized. This is due to its more Defense/Endurance oriented Wheel. It is still able to outspin most of the other MFB models, however. Its parts are useful because they are currently the only ones of their kind in the MFB system, the Wheel being particularly valuable because of its high Endurance and Defense compared to the other Wheels. It is far less likely to be knocked out than the other Wheels are.

Many different variations and updates to Spin Gears were released over the years, which allowed for various weights, bearings, and an “engine” to be encased within them.
__TOC__
==A to F Series Spin Gears==
Because the [[4-Layer Series]] never technically had SGs (they were fixed in place by screws), these were the first SGs ever produced. Generally each SG has casings that surround a metal ring and the gear which is placed into the BB and held in place by the base clips. However, there are exceptions to this description as many different versions were released to accommodate different Beyblades.

[[Image: rightSG.jpg|thumb| Right SG]]
*'''Right Spin Gear'''
A SG that allows for right spin while using in combination with a right shooter. In a right-spin SG, two tabs (situated close to the right sides of the Spin Gear) would attach to the right-spin Shooter, allowing the Beyblade to be spun in a clockwise motion. It was first released in the [[A to F Series]].
[[Image: leftSG.jpg|thumb| Left SG]]
*'''Left Spin Gear'''
A SG that allows for left spin while using in combination with a left [[Shooters and Grips#Standard Shooters | shooter]]. The left-spin SG was designed very similarly to the right-spin SG, with the exception of the tabs. The tabs on a left-spin SG were situated opposite of the right-spin SG tabs, allowing a left-spin shooter to attach to them. In addition, the left-spin tabs extended out slightly farther than the right-spin tabs, disallowing the usage of a right-spin Shooter on with a left-spin SG, and vice-versa. It was first released with [[Dragoon S]].
[[Image:LeftvsrightSG.jpg|thumb| Left SG vs. Right SG. Note the differences]]
*'''Parts of a Spin Gear'''
The SG’s other purpose was to hold the entire Beyblade together. On the bottom of each SG, a star-shaped piece fitted into the inside of a Beyblade’s [[Blade Base]]. The piece would hold the SG in place along with the sides of the SG, which attached to the tabs on the [[Blade Base|Base]].

The [[Weight Disk]] was also able to be set onto the SG using these tabs, which held the WD in place.

Finally, a small recession towards the top of the SG allowed for the tabs on the inside of an [[Attack Ring]] to be screwed into place. For right-spin SG, the AR would be turned counter-clockwise to be held into place, and vice-versa for a left-spin SG.

Within each SG, a small metal ring added some weight and balance to the Beyblade. The metal alloy also held the star-shaped piece onto the rest of the SG.

==V and V2 Series Spin Gears==
[[Image: NeorightSG.jpg|thumb| Neo Right SG with MG Core]]
This is the second generation of SGs, first released in the [[V Series]] of Beyblades. They no longer use the metal ring seen in the original SGs, instead, they feature different weights. Three different weights were released: Metal Weight Core, Magnetic Core, and Heavy Metal Core ([[Takara]] [[Metal Driger]]), with MW being the lightest, and the HMC the heaviest.

Two '''Magnacore/MG Core''' (Magnetic) types were released: A “North Pole” version (which was red in color), and a “South Pole” version (which was blue in color). Both weighed the same, but had different movement patterns when used with the Magnacore Stadium (which used North Pole Magnets). A “North Pole” MG Core would be thrown away from a magnet, making movement erratic, while a “South Pole” MG Core would be held in place above a magnet, in a defensive style.

The '''Metal Weight Core''' (abbreviated “MW Core”) was an alternate version of the Magnacore. The MW Core was lighter than the MG Core, acting very similar to original Spin Gear.

In addition to the MW Core there was the '''Neo-Spin Gear''' ("Neo-SG"). This was the lightest version of the V-Series SG, with a plastic cylinder replacing the metal cylinder used in the MW Core.

Finally, there was the '''Heavy Metal Core''' (“HMC”). The HMC was the heaviest version of the V-series Spin Gears, weighing at 9 grams. This heavy weight allowed for use in [compact] and [defense type|defensive] Beyblades.
For more information, please see the [[Metal Driger | Takara Metal Driger article]].

*'''Neo Left SG (Metal Weight, MG Core, HMC Versions)'''
An upgraded version of the Left SG, it can hold a Metal Weight, Magnetic, or Heavy Metal Core.

*'''Neo Right SG (Metal Weight, MG Core, HMC Versions)'''
An upgraded version of the Right SG, it can hold a Metal Weight, Magnetic, or Heavy Metal Core.

===Specialized Neo SGs===
*'''Right SG (MG Jumping Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Cyber Dragoon]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

*'''Neo Right SG (Double Bearing Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Burning Kerberous]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

===Cores===
* '''Neo SG + Heavy Metal Core:''' 9 grams
* '''Neo SG + MG Core:''' 6 grams
* '''Neo SG + Metal Weight Core:''' 5 grams

The added weight of either the MW, MG, or HMC is particularly useful for [[compact]] customizations; the weight being added in focused in the centre, which will help increase it’s [[spin velocity]]. In [[defense]] combinations, it will decrease their mobility, making them harder to move and more sturdy. Almost any Beyblade type can benefit from these SG cores.

==G and GT Series Spin Gears==
[[Image: EG.jpg|thumb| Engine Gear]]
The [[G Series | G]] and [[GT Series]] introduced an entirely new type of SG, and that is the Engine Gear. The EG was a complex evolution to the Spin Gear System. Being the largest SG system thus far, it was only usable in certain EG Blade Bases. The EG acted as both the Spin Gear and Blade Base in some respects, with the tip of the Beyblade being attached to the EG.
You use the [[Turbo Winder]] to wind up an EG before a battle starts and it will be activated at a certain point in that battle to give your Beyblade and extra burst of spin power. There is four types of EG activation rates, they are: '''First Clutch''' (immediate release), '''Middle Clutch''' (release part-way through the battle), '''Final Clutch''' (release towards end of the battle), and '''No Clutch''' (steady release throughout battle).

The [[Spin Gear]] is a part of the [[Plastic Beyblade | plastic generation]] of Beyblade. Many different variations and updates to Spin Gears were released over the years, which allowed for various weights, bearings, and an “engine” to be encased within them.

==V and V2 Series Spin Gears==

===Specialized Neo SGs===
*'''Right SG (MG Jumping Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Cyber Dragoon]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

*'''Neo Right SG (Double Bearing Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Burning Kerberous]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

===Cores===

The [[Spin Gear]] is a part of the [[Plastic Beyblade | plastic generation]] of Beyblade. It determines which way a Beyblade will be able to spin, which can have a large effect on the outcome of a battle. Many different variations and updates to Spin Gears were released over the years, which allowed for various weights, bearings, and an “engine” to be encased within them.
__TOC__
==A to F Series Spin Gears==

==V and V2 Series Spin Gears==

===Specialized Neo SGs===
*'''Right SG (MG Jumping Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Cyber Dragoon]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

*'''Neo Right SG (Double Bearing Version)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Burning Kerberous]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>

===Cores===

The EG is completely different from previous SGs. You use the [[Turbo Winder]] to wind up a EG before a battle starts and it will be activated at a certain point in that battle to give your Beyblade and extra burst of spin power. There is four types of EG activation rates, they are: First Clutch, Middle Clutch, Final Clutch, and No Clutch.

*'''Left Engine Gear (Metal Semi-Flat)''' <nowiki>[</nowiki>[[Dragoon G]]<nowiki>]</nowiki>
In [[defense]] combinations, it will decrease their mobility, making them harder to move and more sturdy. Almost any Beyblade type can benefit from these SG cores.
