Much like Pegasis and Storm, Galaxy's main shape consists of three rounded, wing-like forms intended to depict the wings of Pegasis, and each wing has two separate protrusions. There are four indented separations on each wing, complimented by three curved ridges on the top and five small spikes on the bottom. Each of the undersides are hollow, making Galaxy very light.

Though Galaxy has a very violent appearance, in actual battle it is very restrained; it is unable to deliver a great amount of Smash even at high speeds, primarily because of its light weight and rounded protrusions. As such, Galaxy is easily outclassed by other Attack Wheels of it its time and not recommended to be used competitively.

Right Rubber Flat, shortened to R²F, is–competitively speaking–the most vital part of this Beyblade. R²F is very similar to RF, and is an overall upgraded version of it. R²F consists of six curved rubber spikes that face to the right intended predominantly for use in right-spin combos. This new design creates more traction with the stadium floor, causing it to move more quickly than its predecessor, RF. However, its stamina is decreased due to the increase in speed and friction compared to the original RF. This also means an R²F will wear down faster than an RF.

Since this is a rubber Attack Bottom, a new R²F is harder to control than a new RF, mainly because it moves much faster. This makes RF a good choice for controllability and stamina, while R²F is a better choice for speed and power. Like RF however, it is essential to wear the rubber of R²F before competitive use, as this allows the Beyblade to spin into a "flower pattern" more easily. A clear sign that shows when an R²F is in its prime is when the indented lines that form a star shape inside R²F's perimeter are nearly gone.

Throughout the course of its release, each company (Takara-Tomy, Sonokong, Hasbro) has released its own mold of R²F which revolved around the different placement of a 'bar' on the inside of the tip, (a lack thereof) which seem to be made at random.

This mold contains a thick bar in the middle of the tip, securing the Rubber of R²F.

The construction of Triple Wing mainly consists of three large spikes, with some inset notches strewn throughout. While the spikes are angled slightly upwards, the [[Upper Attack]] present is negligible. However, these spikes and notches make for excellent [[Smash Attack]].

Triple Wing found its home among Smash Attack enthusiasts simply because it is so good and consistent at what it does. [[Recoil]] is a big problem with Smash Attack, but Triple Wing seems to rarely suffer from this. Enough surface area of Triple Wing is laden with attacking projections that it can consistently deliver critical hits and KOs to opposing Beyblades.

Wide Defense is a perfect match for Triple Wing; the notches work to increase Smash Attack, and the weight being focused along the outside increases momentum.

Bearing Core was a large source of controversy within the Beyblade community simply because of how powerful it is. In most stadiums, particularly [[Tornado Balance]], its ability to outlast almost any other Beyblade was game-breaking in its effectiveness. There are very niche methods available to beat it, but this did not change the fact that it still outclassed almost every other part in the game. There were even discussions of banning the part.

However, Takara addressed this issue by releasing [[Tornado Balance Type S]]. By releasing a smaller stadium, Bearing Core lost its advantage as it was easily knocked out of the stadium.

=== How to Defeat Bearing Core-Based Beyblades ===

In [[Tornado Balance Type S]], defeating Beyblades based on Bearing Core is easy because the stadium is small enough to allow for easy hits and knockouts. However, in most other stadiums defeating Bearing Core-based Beyblades is a chore because it is difficult to hit consistently. However, there are ways to do it. The following strategies are designed for best use in the [[Tornado Attack]] and [[Tornado Balance]] stadiums.

It must be noted that this combo is only effective if both it and the Bearing Core Beyblade are spinning in the same direction. However, that is the only variable that affects this Beyblade's performance in a significant way.

Simply put, if you want victory and can only purchase one Beyblade, this is the one to have. VariAres is unarguably the most aggressively designed Wheel ever released in MFB, and is the second Metal Wheel capable of spinning in both Left and Right Spin (the first being Gravity Perseus). It has a relatively thick, wide three-winged design. Each wing ends in an abrupt, sharp point that provides intense [[Smash Attack]] in both spin directions. In addition to this, along each wing there are six indents of varying size that provide [[Spike Attack]] which works in tandem with the sharp Smash Attack points on the ends of each wing. However, while VariAres' attack power may be high, it does suffer from huge amounts of recoil because it is so aggressively designed. This can make VariAres a risky Wheel to use in some respects, but as the game has evolved, lighter, more compact Attack Wheels such as [[Lightning LDrago 100HF | Lightning]] have become harder and harder to use effectively without the assistance of something like BD145. VariAres can backfire due to its recoil, but it does not need the width and weight of BD145 to be effective.

Between each wing is a large gap. Fitted in between these gaps is a yellow PC Frame, that protrudes outwards in a triangular shape as far as the Metal Frame. Unlike other 4D Beyblades, VariAres' PC Frame is built in conjunction with the Metal Frame. On the bottom side of the Metal Wheel where the mechanism that controls the plastic wings release are located, there is cover of a hard plastic sheet.

When VariAres is spinning at high spin speeds, the PC Frame retracts towards the centre of VariAres, exposing more Metal, and therefore producing more [[Smash Attack]]. This is considered "Attack Mode". As VariAres' spin velocity lowers, the PC Frame extends out to it's full length, allowing for more Plastic contact in an attempt to reduce recoil. This is considered "Defense Mode".

Due to its relatively heavy weight, three gaps, and prominent indentations, VariAres produces incredibly potent [[Smash Attack]]. A Metal Face - Heavy and Rubber Flat variant in unison with VariAres' high rotational force reduces VariAres' recoil, and provides proficient [[Smash Attack]] in the top-tier attack customizations: ''MF/-H VariAres CH120RF/R2F/LRF'' and ''MF/-H VariAres R145RF/R2F/LRF''.

==Bottom: Delta Drive (D:D)==

D:D is of a round shape with a translucent black colour, and with a height comparable to 145WD. Like most 4D Bottoms, D:D's gimmick is mode change-related. D:D features a Sharp Bottom, a Wide Ball Bottom, and a Flat Bottom all on one axis, which can be changed manually between battles. To change modes, the tip can be pulled out slightly, rotated on its axis, and then pushed back in on the new tip. D:D is evidently an incredibly versatile bottom, but this versatility is made useless by the fact that the Bottoms encased are all outclassed in one way or another; S is outclassed by WD, WB is outclassed by CS, and F is outclassed by RF.

Basalt is a member of the Maximum Series, with its "gimmick" being "maximum weight". It is the heaviest Metal Wheel ever created; much heavier and thicker than even the infamous [[Libra DF145BS| Libra]]. Basalt's circular nature, in combination with its abnormally heavy weight make it without a doubt, the absolute best Metal Wheel for Defense customizations.

However, Basalt is missing a chunk of metal inside its perimeter which forms what is called the "Spiral Staircase of Death". The "Spiral Staircase of Death" was meant to neuter Basalt's incredibly high power slightly by creating an imbalance within the Wheel.
