The Face on this Beyblade depicts Scorpio, the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac.

Escolpio's design consists of two large scorpion tails connected at each end in a relatively circular shape. The top of each tail is adorned with red rectangles to resemble the divisions on a scorpion's body. Given the circular nature Escolpio has, it may seem suited for Defense and Stamina, as most defensive and endurance Wheels require an uninterrupted rounded shape, which Escolpio is close to having, save for the small crevices created by the lines dividing the sections of the tails. However, Escolpio is not a very good choice for Defense or Stamina despite its ideal shape. This is because the underside of this Wheel is completely hollow, like a bell. As such, it lacks the heavy weight necessary to perform well in either category.

Weighing 31 grams, Escolpio is among the lightest Wheels ever created. Even with a Metal Face, it simply does not maintain much of its spin velocity due to the light weight, and when hit, it easily loses the little balance it had, and it cannot counter. For Attack, there are no slopes, protrusions, spikes, or notches on Escolpio to supply any offense. The prototype of Escolpio, however, did have the stinger part of both tails highlighted on the sides of the Wheel, which could have at least provided some element of Attack. However, this element of the design ended up being filled in so that there is barely any relief left on the ends of the Wheel.

Being useless in all areas of the metagame since the day it was released, Escolpio is one of the worst Wheels ever created.

WD145 features three "wings" covering more than half of the circumference around the Track's core. These wings are fixed, so WD145 cannot truly absorb hits well, not to mention that an Attacker can easily get caught between the wings and the Wheel, causing notable recoil and imbalance. Furthermore, as the Beyblade wobbles during its precession, this Track will scrape the stadium floor and decrease the Beyblade's Stamina a lot. Being therefore useless for Stamina and Defense, the only use WD145 has found is in specific Attack combinations, however there are numerous other more useful options, like the heavier R145.

Ball, as its name suggests, is shaped like a ball. This hemispherical shape provides a large area for the Bottom to make contact with the Stadium floor; hence increasing friction and making it more difficult to knockout. B’s shape also makes it likely to stay in the central areas of the Stadium, hence maximizing the customization’s distance from the Stadium exits. Due to its qualities, this bottom makes a decent choice for Defense Customizations. B can be used if WB is not available. However, both have been outclassed by [[Metal Fight Beyblade - Bottom List#CS: Coat Sharp|CS]], [[Metal Fight Beyblade - Bottom List#RSF: Rubber Semi Flat | RSF]] and [[Metal Fight Beyblade - Bottom List#RS: Rubber Sharp | RS]], all of which inherently have better Defense due to the inclusion rubber.

Since it is ball-shaped, this means that it still mostly only has one single point of contact with the stadium floor, and it wears evenly. For those reasons, the B Bottom is also a prized tip for Stamina testing, where variations in Bottom wear can cause considerable differences in performances.

Like most Zero-G Beyblades, Ifraid's design is interrupted by a hole at one of its extremities to allow the Crystal Wheel's crystal to protrude through it. The rest of its design shows an engraved Ifrit face one one side, with some long horns reaching all the way to the other side, where a few flames are drawn into the metal, close to the hole.

Ifraid can be mixed with Saramanda to create a Synchrom Wheel.

This Crystal Wheel has a general shape that tries to embrace Ifraid's own relief curves. On one side, it has a big orb known as a crystal, and it is the part that truly combines Samurai with its Chrome Wheel. To compensate with this big orb, the other side is generally bigger so an overall balance can be gained.

However, Samurai can also be placed right on top of Ifraid. In its Chrome Up Mode, Samurai barely protrudes on the sides of the Ifraid Chrome Wheel, but, following this mode change, in Crystal Up Mode, it logically absorbs most if not all of the impacts and offers a completely different performance.

W145 is a normal 145 Track with six sharp wings that are slightly angled. The pointy ends are however cut off to form, overall, more of a dodecagon. It is based off of W105, T125, and DF145, but the downforce it creates is actually extremely effective compared to those three Tracks, and W145 succeeds in being a top-tier Stamina Track consequently.

Earth has four thick, textured wings surrounding its perimeter, with each pair facing each other on a slight incline. The space created between the wings is quite small, and the resulting effect is similar to any Wheel that has no spaces: minimal recoil. Though it is on the lighter side of Metal Wheels, its almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil make it one of the best, [[Defense]]-oriented Wheel available for competitive play. However, it has since been severely outclassed by the extremely heavy [[Basalt Horogium 145WD#Metal Wheel: Basalt | Basalt]].

Earth has two different molds. The first mold was released in BB-47 Starter Earth Aquila 145WD, and the second in both the purple WBBA "Event Special" MF Earth Aquila 105HF/S, and SonoKong manufactured Earth Metal Wheels. However, TAKARA-TOMY has since ceased production on the first mold, thus making it a difficult part to obtain. The second mold addressed breaking problems that the original mold faced by modifying the inside of each of Earth's wings. The new mold is up to three grams heavier than the old mold (30-31 grams versus 33 grams on the new mold), which makes it significantly more effective for [[Defense]] customizations. Therefore, the new mold is the preferred choice for Defense customs using Earth, while the original mold would be the best for [[Survival | Stamina]].

===Use in Defense Customization===
Earth is best utilized in the top-tier [[Defense]] customization, ''MF-H Earth Bull/Kerbecs BD145CS''. Earth's low recoil can be put to good use in combination with BD145 which prevents many KO's by top-tier low track attackers and adds a fair amount of weight making it difficult to knock around. CS, being the tallest defense tip currently, is the only suitable choice in combination with a BD145 in normal mode and due to BD145's weight, it makes up for CS' lesser defensive prowess compared to the completely rubber tip, RS. When you add Bull or Kerbecs for extra weight along with MF-H you essentially have a very low recoil, decently heavy defensive beyblade which can withstand attackers from all heights. Nevertheless [[Basalt Horogium 145WD|Basalt]] still outclasses it due to its sheer weight.

Earth also has exceptional [[Survival | Stamina]] capabilities because of its low recoil and good weight distribution. Earth can be utilized in the top-tier Stamina custom, ''Earth Bull AD145WD''. 145, along with its variants (C145, DF145, etc.), was once the highest Track available, until the 230 Track was released with [[Flame Byxis 230WD | Flame Byxis]]. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its [[spin velocity]]. 145, as tall as it is, makes it easily susceptible to low Attackers, such as [[Lightning L Drago 100HF]]; however, this should not be seen as a drawback because Stamina Types are not traditionally designed to be used against [[Attack]] Types.

145 can be put to good use in the [[Attack]] custom, ''MF Pegasis 145RF''. Pegasis has been proven to perform viciously when used in unison with 145, which maximizes the effectiveness of its [[Smash Attack]].

Wide Defense, as its name implies is one of the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD, EWD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms, specifically D. The advantages include its ability for abnormally long precession times due to its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter. This allows it to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, and at a much lower spin rate. However, depending on the position of the Beyblade using WD and the spin rate of the opponent, this can be disadvantageous because of how easy it becomes to knock over the precessing WD custom. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. Nevertheless, this more often an advantage than it is a disadvantage.

Newer parts such as CS, EDS and B:D have overshadowed WD to some degree: CS and EDS due to their ability to be paired with the popular BD145 Track without scraping, and B:D because of its height and even longer precession times, but WD is still one of the best pure Stamina Bottoms available. However, when selecting high Tracks such as TH170 and 230, WD's tendency to wobble at larger angles should be kept in mind, as its extreme precession can often become problematic.

Although the name suggests Defensive characteristics, WD does not possess any inherent defensive qualities. However, its proficiency can be increased significantly when facing left-spin Attackers through the utilization of the [[Weak Shooting]] technique.

WD is arguably the best of the “Defense” series of Bottoms, and its effectiveness can be utilized in the custom Phantom Bull AD145WD.

This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms, specifically D. The advantages include its ability for abnormally long precession times due to its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter. This allows it to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, and at a much lower spin rate. However, depending on the position of the Beyblade using WD and the spin rate of the opponent, this can be disadvantageous because of how easy it becomes to knock over the precessing WD custom. Wide Defense, as its name implies is one of the widest of the “Defense” series of Bottoms (D, SD, WD, PD, EWD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to the other “Defense” Bottoms, specifically D. The advantages include its ability for abnormally long precession times due to its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter. This allows it to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D, and at a much lower spin rate. However, depending on the position of the Beyblade using WD and the spin rate of the opponent, this can be disadvantageous because of how easy it becomes to knock over the precessing WD custom. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. Nevertheless, this more often an advantage than it is a disadvantage.

The space created between the wings is quite small, and the resulting effect is similar to any Wheel that has no spaces: minimal recoil. Though it is on the lighter side of Metal Wheels, its almost unperturbed circular design, and minimal recoil make it one of the best, [[Defense]]-oriented Wheel available for competitive play. The [[Metal Face]] is a product released by TAKARA-TOMY which offered an upgrade in weight to a [[Metal Fight Beyblade]]. Metal Face is usually abbreviated to “MF” in customization notation.
